The undersigned Communist and Workers’ Parties strongly condemn the criminal bombings carried out by the United States against the city of Caracas and other areas of Venezuela in the early hours of 3 January. This military imperialist attack constitutes a serious violation of the sovereignty of an independent state and is directed against the interests of the people of Venezuela and other peoples of the region.
Joint Statement on the 108th Anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution
The Communist and Workers’ Parties signing this Joint Statement wish, among other means, to honour the October Revolution, which illuminated the strength of the revolutionary class struggle — the power of the exploited and oppressed — when they surge to the forefront and turn the wheel of history forward, towards social emancipation. It was a Revolution inseparably linked with the great revolutionary and theorist of scientific socialism, Vladimir Ilyich Lenin.
We, the undersigned Communist and Workers' Parties, express our condemnation of the current deployment of U.S. military forces in the Caribbean, on the orders of the Trump Administration, threatening Venezuela under the pretext of the fight against drug trafficking.

At the June 2025 NATO Summit in The Hague, member states committed to raise military spending to 5% of GDP by 2035. This escalation, cynically framed as a commitment to “defend democracy and freedom” and “support Ukraine,” is in fact a war agenda serving the declining hegemony of Euro-Atlantic capital in the face of increased inter-imperialist rivalry.
Following the unilateral and undeclared military attack unleashed against Iran on Friday 13 June 2025 by the criminal Netanyahu government, we witnessed on Sunday 22 June the military aggression of US imperialism against Iran, bombing the nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

The Communist and Workers’ Parties signing this Joint Statement strongly condemn the US attack on Iran, which escalates the military offensive already launched by Israel.
After Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and the ongoing genocide in Palestine, the USA and its allies are now shedding the blood of yet another country in the Middle East. This imperialist aggression is plunging people into war across a wider region and threatening to destroy humanity as a whole.
The Communist and Workers’ Parties condemn the new crime against the Palestinian people, which is being carried out before the eyes of the whole world and has been brought about by the intensification of the barbaric military aggression and the criminal Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip.
"May 9, 1945 marks 80 years since the Great Anti-Fascist Victory when Nazi Germany surrendered and the peoples of the world, with the decisive role of the Red Army and the Soviet Union under the leadership of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) as the organizer and inspirer of this struggle, brought fascism to its knees across Europe.
As a result of the imperialist blockade, of the sanctions imposed by USA, amongst them the inclusion in the list of State Sponsors of Terrorism, the Cuban people face today great difficulties, one of them the instability of the electrical grid, that is causing blackouts in a crucial time, as is the hurricane season in the Caribbean that requires the maximum effort of the civilian protection services.
In the early morning hours and without warning their lawyers or relatives, they were assaulted in their places of confinement (the Asunción women's prison in the case of the first two and the San Juan Bautista Regional Prison in the case of Laura V. .) by military agents without identification, hooded and with heavy caliber weapons, they took them to the new Minga Guazu Prison, in the department of Alto Paraná.
We stand against the widening of war in the Middle East!
We, the undersigned communist and workers parties campaigning for peace and progress in the Middle East, hereby express our most profound concerns over the unprecedented escalation of the situation in the region with the Israeli multi-dimensional attacks on Lebanon and full-scale invasion of the country. This has predictably resulted in the retaliatory missile strikes by Iran on Israeli targets, following on from Israeli attacks on Lebanon and other provocative infringements on Iranian sovereignty.
On Sunday, July 28, elections will be held to elect the president of Venezuela. In light of this, we would like to express the following:
– Contrary to what government propaganda spreads, these elections in Venezuela have a profound anti-democratic character, among other things, for deliberately preventing revolutionary parties and forces from registering candidates.
