Slovakia: Anti-communist thugs desecrate Soviet marshal Ivan Konev’s monument

A newly erected monument to Soviet Marshal Ivan Konev in eastern Slovakia has become the target of disgraceful anti-communist provocations and vandalism. 

 

The attacks, beginning with an action organized by the pro-EU, pro-NATO Democrats party, constitute an assault on the historical memory of the Red Army and its decisive contribution to the defeat of Nazi Germany.
