In reality, this stance is not new. Throughout Abdullah Öcalan’s years in prison, he has repeatedly produced statements and writings that target socialist experiences and the founders of scientific socialism. These have for some time been highlighted in the movement’s own media.
Both parties, united by shared ideological principles, issued sharp warnings about the so-called “World Anti-Imperialist Platform” (WAP), which they describe not as a vehicle for proletarian internationalism but as a reformist and openly anti-communist apparatus designed to align workers’ parties with the interests of one capitalist bloc against another.
In recent weeks, the Polish authorities escalated their decade-long persecution by bringing the case before the Constitutional Tribunal in an effort to criminalize the Party’s very existence.
The Tribunal’s decision follows a formal petition by the ultra-conservative Polish President Karol Nawrocki and finds that the aims and activities of the party violate the national constitution. The ruling effectively criminalizes the legitimate political activity of an established communist formation.
The speaker was Zisis Lymberidis, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of KKE and head of the Party’s External Committee. The meetings focused on the theme: “Against anti-people policy and war preparations — with the communists on the road of struggle and overthrow, for Socialism.”

Our parties strongly condemn the recent unacceptable action by Polish President Nawrocki, who has filed a motion with the Constitutional Court claiming that “the aims and activities of the Communist Party of Poland are unconstitutional”.
This is an unfounded motion and largely echoes similar attempts by bourgeois forces in the country five years ago to ban the CP of Poland, which ultimately did not proceed.
Joint Statement on the 108th Anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution
The Communist and Workers’ Parties signing this Joint Statement wish, among other means, to honour the October Revolution, which illuminated the strength of the revolutionary class struggle — the power of the exploited and oppressed — when they surge to the forefront and turn the wheel of history forward, towards social emancipation. It was a Revolution inseparably linked with the great revolutionary and theorist of scientific socialism, Vladimir Ilyich Lenin.
The gathering was organized under the central theme: “Relevant messages of the October Revolution in our contemporary struggle for socialism and in conditions of imperialist war,” bringing together a large audience and representatives of 25 communist and workers’ parties from across the world.
The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) — elected at the 16th National Congress held in November 2022 — alerts the peoples of the world to the dangerous military escalation that U.S. imperialism is developing in the waters of the Caribbean and the eastern Pacific, through an unprecedented deployment not seen in decades.

The Communist Party of Israel leading member, who has been suspended from Israel’s parliament for 10 months of the last two years because of his public denunciations of the Gaza genocide, described how Jewish settlers “in a chilling imitation of other Nazis” set fire to a mosque last week in the occupied West Bank.

From the side of the KKE, the meeting was attended by Zisis Lymberidis, member of the Central Committee and head of the Party’s Foreign Committee; Kostas Papadakis, member of the Central Committee and Member of the European Parliament; Panos Apergis, Secretary of the KKE’s Scandinavia Regional Organisation; and Vasilis Lazaridis, Secretary of the Stockholm Local Organisation.
In a statement on the threats of US imperialist intervention in Venezuela, the Press Office of the Central Committee of the KKE reports the following:
“The statements by US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, who announced the launch of a military operation in the Caribbean called Southern Spear, as well as the arrival of the largest US aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford, in the region, constitute a sharp escalation of imperialist aggression against Venezuela and other peoples in the region. The fight against drug trafficking is yet another flimsy pretext.
In its appeal on the occasion of the Great October Socialist Revolution, the party emphasized, among other things:
On 7 November 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump proclaimed the week of 2–8 November as “Anti-Communism Week”, inviting the American people to “honor the victims of communism” and to remember the “devastation caused by one of history’s most destructive ideologies.”
But this proclamation is not a moral gesture — it is an ideological weapon. It revives the same Cold War rhetoric that once justified imperialist wars, fascist coups, and the persecution of workers, intellectuals, and freedom-fighters across the world. Behind Trump’s pompous words stands the oldest lie of the capitalist order: that communism, not capitalism, is the source of human suffering.
The Great October Socialist Revolution inspires our struggle for a world free from class exploitation and imperialist wars
108 years ago, the victory of the October Revolution demonstrated the power of revolutionary class struggle and paved the way for a society free from exploitation, insecurity, poverty, unemployment and war. It became a turning point in the history of humanity, brought to the fore a superior form of social organization, socialism–communism, which is radically opposed to previous exploitative formations.
On Tuesday, 4 November 2025, a cargo plane at UPS Worldport crashed into the facility during takeoff. 9 people have been confirmed killed while many remain missing.

Aleka Papariga, the former long-time leader (1991-2013) of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), celebrates her 80th birthday as a militant whose personal biography has become inseparable from the continuity of a KKE that has refused every form of retreat, compromise, and incorporation into the system of exploitation. Today, October 3, 2025, we are here in Paris, from every continent, to honor 80 years since the founding of the WFTU.
The renewed U.S. aggression against Venezuela cannot be understood in isolation. It is not simply an episode of Washington’s unilateral hostility against a disobedient government. Rather, it is part of the broader inter-imperialist struggle that defines our epoch — a world order increasingly marked by the fierce rivalry between the U.S.-led imperialist bloc and the rising powers of Russia and China. Venezuela, with its vast oil reserves and strategic position in Latin America, has become a focal point in this global contest for domination, resources, and influence.
"We express deep concern over the recent escalation of tensions and cross-border hostilities between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Such confrontations neither serve regional peace nor the well-being of the working people of both nations. We firmly believe that both countries sharing deep historical and people’s ties must resolve their differences through dialogue and mutual respect rather than armed confrontation.
When U.S President Donald Trump addressed the Knesset on October 13, he did not merely deliver a diplomatic speech; he performed a spectacle of power designed to reassert U.S. hegemony in the region under the guise of peace.
His words, wrapped in a language of faith and reconciliation, revealed the fundamental logic of imperialism: domination disguised as partnership, subordination repackaged as sovereignty.
