As 2025 draws to a close, broad masses of popular forces in Greece have taken to the streets of struggle, waging battles of great significance. Poor farmers have set up roadblocks on central and regional roads across the country, fighting for survival against the monopolies, the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy, and government policies that are suffocating them.
No political figure of the twentieth century has been attacked with such persistence, intensity, and ideological unanimity as Joseph Stalin. From conservative anticommunism to liberal moralism and large parts of the so-called “democratic” left and various anti-Stalinist currents (Trotskyists, Eurocommunists, and related tendencies), hostility to Stalin functions as a shared point of convergence. This is not the result of historical curiosity or ethical sensitivity. It is a political necessity.
Stalin is targeted not primarily for what he did, but for what he represents: the most advanced historical challenge ever posed to capitalism and imperialism.
On the basis of our world view and our constitutional principles, the Communist Party is the Party of the working class, its conscious and organized ideological and political vanguard, its supreme form of organization.

In reality, this stance is not new. Throughout Abdullah Öcalan’s years in prison, he has repeatedly produced statements and writings that target socialist experiences and the founders of scientific socialism. These have for some time been highlighted in the movement’s own media.
Both parties, united by shared ideological principles, issued sharp warnings about the so-called “World Anti-Imperialist Platform” (WAP), which they describe not as a vehicle for proletarian internationalism but as a reformist and openly anti-communist apparatus designed to align workers’ parties with the interests of one capitalist bloc against another.
In recent weeks, the Polish authorities escalated their decade-long persecution by bringing the case before the Constitutional Tribunal in an effort to criminalize the Party’s very existence.
The Tribunal’s decision follows a formal petition by the ultra-conservative Polish President Karol Nawrocki and finds that the aims and activities of the party violate the national constitution. The ruling effectively criminalizes the legitimate political activity of an established communist formation.
The speaker was Zisis Lymberidis, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of KKE and head of the Party’s External Committee. The meetings focused on the theme: “Against anti-people policy and war preparations — with the communists on the road of struggle and overthrow, for Socialism.”
