Turkey and the Iran War

Turkey is at a crossroads.

On one side of this crossroads lies a reality in which the interests of the working majority are sacrificed for the profits of a small group of monopolies; where extreme wealth and extreme poverty coexist; where absolute exploitation and inequality prevail; where the expansionist ambitions of capital disregard the borders and internal affairs of other countries; where there is full alignment with imperialism; and perhaps where the neo-Ottoman ambitions of Turkish capital could drive the country toward an existential abyss.

The Kurdish nationalist movement’s anti-communism

A recent article published by one of the Kurdish nationalist movement’s media outlets has provided an opportunity to revisit certain aspects of the movement’s class character and ideological foundations.  

In reality, this stance is not new. Throughout Abdullah Öcalan’s years in prison, he has repeatedly produced statements and writings that target socialist experiences and the founders of scientific socialism. These have for some time been highlighted in the movement’s own media.

Why Has TKP Become the “Object of Hatred” of the Turkish Left?

For readers who are not deeply familiar with the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) or Turkish politics, the title may sound exaggerated. Yet, within a realistic framework, it accurately reflects the dynamics we aim to explore here.
