For another year, thousands of students supported the lists of Panspoudastiki thus giving a significant boost for the regroupment of the students movement, especially during a period when the conservative New Democracy (ND) government tries to implement reactionary reforms in Education.
“The working class can abolish capitalist slavery and build a new society without the exploiters and their parasitic nature”, stressed Giorgos Perros, member of the Secretariat of the All Workers’ Militant Front (PAME).
In Greece's Parliamentary Elections that are scheduled to be held on May 21, 2023, the people have at least 10 reasons to vote for the KKE:
1. A stronger KKE means stability for the people, their lives and their rights.
What does the term “left” mean today?
The truth is that it is a term that has been abused by many people over time, both in Greece and internationally.
The full speech reads as follows:
"The KKE expresses its sorrow for the unprecedented fatal train accident in Tempe and its sincere condolences to the families of the victims. It calls upon its members and friends to participate in the blood donations held in the towns where the injured are being hospitalized.
We demand that there be a full investigation into the causes of this tragedy, that nothing be covered up!
From the first moment, the GS of the CC of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), Dimitris Koutsoumbas, stated the following:
“It is a day of unspeakable sorrow for the unprecedented fatal train accident in Tempe, but also of anger for how it is possible that human lives are lost in this tragic way.
"The visit of the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Greece marks the even more active and in all ways active participation of our country in the dangerous US-NATO plans in the broader region, with the current imperialist war between NATO and Russia in Ukraine being at the epicenter. Actually, it has been made absolutely clear that Greece is willing to continue its military support with weapons and other ways towards the reactionary Zelensky government.

The powerful and destructive earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria on Monday brought memories from the 17 August 1999 earthquake (7.6 magnitude earthquake) in Turkey's Kocaeli province, causing approximately 18,000 deaths.
Two days later, on 19 August, the front page (photo) of the party newspaper of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) “Rizospastis” was reading: “Stay strong my comrade Mehmet”. It was an article written by journalist Pavlos Rizargiotis, emphasizing on the proletarian solidarity expressed by the workers and the people of Greece towards their neighbors. Freely translated, the article, a magnificent sample of internationalist solidarity, was the following:
"PAME stands by our brothers and sisters, the workers and the peoples of Turkey, Syria, Lebanon and all the neighboring countries affected by the massive earthquake in the morning of Monday, 6 February. We are shocked to see the images, especially from the region at the epicentre of the earthquake, where once again natural phenomena have victimised the poor people.
