For readers who are not deeply familiar with the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) or Turkish politics, the title may sound exaggerated. Yet, within a realistic framework, it accurately reflects the dynamics we aim to explore here. Around the world, traditional communist parties have often faced political and ideological hostility from within the left itself. Understanding how this phenomenon has unfolded in Turkey requires looking closely at the origins and historical assertion of TKP.

The Erdoğan–Trump meeting in Washington is not a “step toward solutions.” It is the snapshot of a country pushed into a corner, standing at the edge of an abyss.
More than a concert, the evening in Izmir (Smyrna) became a living manifesto: a declaration that music and revolution remain inseparable, and that the peoples of the region share a common fight against imperialism, war, and exploitation.
Between the 1923 Turkish Revolution and the Great October Revolution, there is a striking temporal, geographical, and historical overlap.
Anatolia-centered national struggle against the occupation lasted roughly from 1919 to 1922. In a sense, 1923 marks the date when the century-long modernization process and the prolonged bourgeois revolution were consolidated with the Republic.
The war triggered by Israel’s attacks on Iran and intensified by Iran’s retaliation lasted for 12 days. Although short-lived, this war marked a significant turning point in world politics. It is essential to analyze this conflict from various angles, including what it means for the relationship between Turkey and Iran.
Turkey and Iran are two of the most powerful countries in the Middle East. A look at history reveals that the relationship between these two countries has experienced many ups and downs.
This is a REAL option for our country. It is essential to ensure the security of our people and the full exercise of sovereignty of our country.
There are other facts as well:
1. The Imperialist system is not limited to the USA alone. Nor is it a nebulous enemy to blame at will. Imperialism is the name for the world system dominated by international monopolies. In this system, capitalist countries compete with each other to seize a larger share of the world’s wealth and to conquer new areas of investment and exploitation.

The meeting took place at the headquarters of the KKE in Perissos, Athens and was also attended by Giorgos Marinos, member of the Political Bureau of the KKE Central Committee, Elisseos Vagenas, member of the KKE Central Committee and head of the KKE International Relations Department.
Your names have appeared in a recent list published by an international financial magazine. The Turkish edition ran the list under the headline: “Billionaire Turks”, noting that “The total wealth of the 35 Turks on the billionaires list stands at $79.5 billion. This is a record.”
It is impossible for the discussions on “”Who’s part of the boycott, why are they included, and who’s in and who’s out of its scope?” not to shift towards “where does the capital start, where it ends”.
The European Communist Action condemns the brutal repression and mass arrests of demonstrators, journalists, etc., including members and cadres of the Communist Party of Turkey, who oppose the unacceptable actions of the Turkish state in relation to arresting and removing from office the elected mayors in Istanbul, which means violation of right to vote and to be elected. These choices are in service to the political interests of the ruling AKP government and highlight its blatant disregard for any and all democratic processes.

The KKE condemns the decision of the Turkish state and the AKP government to arrest and remove from office the Mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem İmamoğlu, the repression of demonstrations and the mass arrests of demonstrators, including cadres of the Communist Party of Turkey and the Communist Youth of Turkey, as well as journalists.

The state-run Anadolu Agency said prosecutors issued detention warrants for the mayor, Ekrem Imamoglu, and some 100 other people. Among those detained was Imamoglu’s close aide, Murat Ongun.
