Facebook's Censorship strikes again

The photo on the left was posted on In Defense of Communism Facebook Page (facebook.com/idcommunism) on 17 December 2022.

Today, 18 December, Facebook informed us that the photo has been taken down and the Page is locked for a day, because the photo "violated the terms of Facebook"!! As you can see, the photo was a satirical reference to Nazis as the "victims of communism".

Once again, social media platforms, owned by powerful monopolies, prove their role tools of anti-communism and promoters of bourgeois, pro-imperialist propaganda.

KKE: Every party is assessed by its participation in the class struggle

Every party is assessed by its participation in the class struggle

Regarding the (new) statement of the leadership of the RCWP, which repeats the well-known dead-end positions and attacks against our party, the International Relations Section of the CC of the KKE notes the following:

First, SolidNet is an important achievement of the Communist and Workers’ Parties and the observance of the rules governing it requires responsibility, which, unfortunately, the leadership of the RCWP fails to demonstrate. In its statements, it continues its unacceptable characterizations, turns against specific comrades, uses inaccuracies, and distorts the positions of the KKE and other parties.

Lenin still haunts the Russian ruling class

“In fact, Zelenskiy is far closer to Lenin than to George Washington. He is a dictator. He is a dangerous authoritarian who has used $100 billion in U.S. tax dollars to erect a one-party police state in Ukraine.” Who wrote this?

It is the opinion posted on Twitter by Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the Russia Today TV network (since 2005) and the Sputnik news agency (since 2014). Her narrative did not come as a bolt from the blue but is linked to the slanders of those who fought against the October Revolution and saw in its leader “the devil, who broke up the great Tsarist Empire with Germany’s money”.

Greek communists-targets of the Ukrainian death list "Myrotvorets"

Joint statement by Giorgos Lambroulis, Member and Vice President of the Greek Parliament, Sotiris Zarianopoulos, former Member of the European Parliament, and Giorgos Maganas, cadre of the KKE, on the Press Project website:

"The inclusion of our names in the Ukrainian blacklist with the misleading title “Peacemaker” proves the fact that the Ukrainian bourgeois state chose to overtly target us, as well as our Party, the KKE, which accepted an invitation in November 2014 to visit the Donbas region to express our solidarity with the people of the region and Ukraine as a whole.

#QatarGate: KKE MEP Papadakis blasts the EU as "the womb that gives birth to corruption scandals"

“The EU of capital is the womb that gives birth to corruption” underlined the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) MEP Kostas Papadakis during his intervention at the plenary debate held in Strasbourg concerning the recent EU-Qatar corruption scandal.

Papapakis said that “the womb that gives birth to corruption centered in the European Parliament is the capital's EU itself”, adding that it was on this ground that the financial scandal involving Vice President Eva Kaili and other former and current MEPs took place.

Lyudmila Gladkaya, journalist of «sb.by» portal suspects that the prosecution and the court simply cannot present any verifiable violations of the law and therefore have to backtrack on certain aspects. KKE supports the LET CUBA REBUILD urgent appeal

In a statement published today, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) Dimitris Koutsoumbas expresses the party's support to the appeal “Let Cuba Rebuild”. More specifically, the statement published in 902 portal, points out:

Is Twitter manipulated by Ukrainian Fascism?

Twitter did it again! Without any prior notification and without any concrete explanation, the social media platform proceeded to the “temporary locking” of “In Defense of Communism” twitter account. The pretext behind this politically-motivated act was that a tweet with a reference to the Holodomor – the notorious anti-communist myth of the Ukrainian famine – was “violating the Twitter Rules”.

The tweet was a photo bearing the message “Holodomor is a lie made up by fascists”. Apparently, numerous Ukrainian and non-Ukrainian fascists, neo-Nazis and anti-communists reported the tweet as “offensive” thus leading to the temporary locking of the account.

Indonesia's new anti-communist penal code smells like Suharto's horrible legacy: Marxism prohibited

A terrible spectre is haunting Indonesia these days; the spectre of dictator Suharto. The new penal code voted by the Indonesian Parliament on December 6th consists a major setback in fundamental civil rights and political freedoms.

Apart from the ban on extramarital sex relations and the restrictions in the freedom of expression (ban on protests, restrictions on academic liberties, etc), the new penal code prohibits the teaching and spreading of political views counter of state ideology (Pancasila). In fact, under the new legislation, the spreading and teaching of Marxism-Leninism, the worldview of scientific socialism, is prohibited.

"Yes, but Stalin...", by Nikos Mottas: New book exposing anti-communist lies released in Greece

The book's cover.
What were the Moscow Trials and the so-called “Great Purge” of 1936-38? Who was the actual perpetrator of the Katyn Massacre? What was the Molotov-Ribbentrop non-aggression pact and is it true that Stalin allied with Hitler? What was agreed at the Yalta Conference? Why was the Berlin Wall built? What happened in Hungary and Czecholoslovakia in 1956 and 1968 respectively? Who were Aleksandr Solzenitsyn and George Orwell? Is there a dictatorship in Cuba? How does the EU systematically promote anti-communist revision of history?

The above are some of the questions answered in the new book written by “In Defense of Communism” editor in chief Nikos Mottas and published in Greek language by Atexnos Publishing House
