Party of Communists, USA: Condemns U.S. government's hostile policy against Russia

PCUSA STATEMENT ON U.S HOSTILITIES AGAINST RUSSIA.

The Party of Communists USA (PCUSA) condemns militarist efforts to isolate and harass Russia. U.S. imperialism continues to ramp up its hostility to Russia, to a point where, informed observers believe the U.S. and Russia are closer to war now more than since the overthrow of socialism in the U.S.S.R. in the early Nineties. Some even assess the hostilities to be greater than at any time since the end of World War II. The hysterical accusations grow wilder each time: Russia is accused of having shot down a Malaysian passenger jet, duped U.S. voters into electing Donald Trump, and poisoned an ex-spy, all without evidence.

Mr. Khamenei, it is you and the rule of the disastrous theocratic regime that are anti-revolution!
  • Greetings to the workers of the National Steel Company in the city of Ahvaz,in their heroic and steadfast struggle, and all the workers and working people of the nation!
  • The Supreme Leader of the theocratic regime should be reminded that the definition of anti-revolutionary is clear. Intervention of the KKE in the European Parliament about the situation in Iran

During the discussion about the ongoing developments in Iran which took place at the Plenary of the European Parliament in Strasburg, the KKE MEP Kostas Papadakis made the following intervention:

"The developments in Iran cannot be addressed separately from what is being unfolded in the broader region by the interventions of powerful imperialist powers. The alliance of interests of Iran with Syria, Iraq, Russia and Turkey causes intense competition - for Iran's nuclear program too- with powers such as the USA, the EU, Israel and Saudi Arabia who see their own interests being affected in the broader region. Both the EU and her governments play a special dangerous role.

Iran Protests- Tudeh Party appealing for the release of more than 1500 arrested in Iran (تظاهرات ایران)

A broad campaign must be organised for the release of hundreds of students, working people and freedom fighters in Iran who have been detained by the repressive forces in recent days.
As anticipated, the anti-people and dictatorial theocratic regime of Iran have proceeded to deploy large squads of the Guards Corps, Basij militia and the mercenaries of the security forces to violently repress the protest movement of the youth and working people of our nation. As has been the case in recent years, the response of the heads of the dictatorial regime to the people - who are frustrated by the poverty, deprivation, oppression, corruption and lack of freedom - is to accuse them of association with foreign powers and then fire at and detain them.

Kemal Okuyan, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Turkey and soL columnist, wrote on the political situation in Iran and Turkey on the occasion of the New Year.

How did Iran and Turkey enter the New Year?

We've entered the New Year. It was a New Year's on which the political power terrorised the country saying "don't enter the New Year; enter your home", some caricatural characters kept watch on the roofs to beat up Father Christmas, the minimum wage that is kept at a certain level dooming the people to poverty was praised to the skies, and it was announced that a little more "poison" was to be added into ethyl alcohol to prevent alcohol production at home.
