It was a rally marked by special energy, determination, and mass participation.

“Starmer is the symptom, not the disease”, says the Communist Party of Britain

In a statement concerning Prime Minister Keir Starmer's resignation, the Communist Party of Britain (CPB) points out the following:

"Keir Starmer is a symptom of Britain’s political crisis, not its cause. His successor must realise that unless Labour ditches Starmer’s toxic cocktail of austerity, economic insecurity and war, the next political crisis will bring a far-right government to power. Starmer’s resignation less than two years after a general election in which Labour won a parliamentary majority of 174 seats, confirms the failure of his authoritarian New Labour tribute act, and the increasing instability of Britain’s ruling class.

KKE: No Greek armed forces mission to the Strait of Hormuz

Statement by the Press Office of the CC of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE)

No Greek armed forces mission to the Strait of Hormuz

Before the fragile agreement between the US and Iran has even been signed, the government is already rushing to assert its presence by deploying naval vessels to the Strait of Hormuz. Whatever pretext may be used to justify this new overseas mission, and regardless of the timeframe envisaged, one fact cannot be denied: this is a mission into the lion’s den, serving interests that are alien to those of the Greek people.

KKE: The EU is complicit in the U.S-Israel's dirty war against Iran and Lebanon

Intervening in the debate on the Middle East held in the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg following the announcement of the preliminary U.S.-Iran agreement, the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) European Parliamentary Group delivered a statement condemning the EU's role in the region.

KKE MEP Lefteris Nikolaou-Alavanos stressed the following:

Tudeh Party welcomes U.S.-Iran agreement, warns against "merchants of war"

The Tudeh Party of Iran has welcomed reports of a preliminary understanding between the Iranian government and the United States aimed at ending the recent military confrontation, while warning that a lasting peace remains far from guaranteed.

In an article published in its central organ Nameh Mardom ("People's Letter"), the Iranian communist party argues that the country remains trapped in a state of political uncertainty despite the reported framework agreement. According to the article, Iran today finds itself "neither at war nor at peace," facing a complex combination of external threats and deep internal crises.

The Communist Party of the Workers of Spain (PCTE) has strongly condemned the new governing agreement between the conservative People's Party (PP) and the far-right Vox party in the autonomous community of Castile and León, describing it as a program designed to deepen the exploitation of the working class while serving the interests of big capital.

In a statement, the PCTE argues that the agreement combines anti-worker labor policies, privatization measures, attacks on social rights and reactionary ideological initiatives under the banners of "freedom" and "rural development."

Germany: Is Die Linke joining the anti-communist campaign against Soviet memorials?

A new controversy in Germany has once again exposed the increasingly problematic stance adopted by the so-called "Left" (Die Linke) on questions of historical memory and the legacy of the Soviet Union.

At the center of the debate is a proposal submitted by the Greens in the Berlin state parliament concerning the Soviet war memorials that commemorate the Red Army's decisive role in the defeat of Nazi Germany. The proposal calls for additional measures and forms of "contextualization" regarding the memorials, under the pretext of preventing their alleged political "misuse" in the context of current geopolitical tensions.
