Cuba denounces the US-organized sabotage of Venezuelan electrical power system

The Revolutionary Government of the Republic of Cuba strongly condemns the sabotage perpetrated against the Venezuelan electrical power system, which is a terrorist act intended to harm the defenseless population of an entire nation, and taking it hostage in the non-conventional war launched by the government of the United States against the legitimate government headed by comrade Nicolás Maduro Moros and the civic and military union of the Bolivarian, Chavista people.

KKE deputy at EU Parliament condemns US-EU imperialist interference in Venezuela

Once again, the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) member at the EU Parliament, Kostas Papadakis, raised his voice against the imperialist interference of the USA-EU and their allies in the internal affairs of Venezuela.

Massive election rally in Istanbul organized by the Communist Party of Turkey

The Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) held a promising election rally in Istanbul's Kartal on Sunday, March 10, soL news portal reports. 

Thousands of people gathered in Kartal Square for the rally of the TKP participating in the elections chanting the slogans "If money has its reign, working people have their Communist Party" and "We are not in the same boat".

Anti-NATO mass mobilizations to take place in Washington DC on March 30-31

The World Peace Council (WPC), in collaboration with the U.S. Peace Council, organizes mobilizations against the murderous imperialist alliance of NATO on March 30th and 31st, 2019. 

The mobilizations include protests and demonstrations throughout the city, in front of the White House, concerts, as well as an Anti-NATO Conference on Sunday 31st March. 

"I'm a woman and a communist": TKP's mayoral candidates for Turkey's largest cities

Three women, fighters in both life and the political arena, are the mayoral candidates of the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) in the country's largest cities - Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir.

TKP's candidates will be running for mayorships of 81 cities and 85 districts throughout Turkey in the upcoming local elections on March 31st.

Italy: Communists paid tribute to the 100th anniversary of Communist International

An event in honor of the 100^th anniversary since the founding of the Communist International was held in Rome, on Saturday 2^nd of March, by the Communist Party, Italy (Partito Comunista). Numerous members and friends of the Party and its youth wing- the Front of Communist Youth (FGC) – attended the event. 

The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) was represented by Kostas Papadakis, MEP and member of the CC, who delivered a greeting speech.

KKE: We must not allow Thessaloniki port to become a base for US-NATO imperialists

“We must not allow the Thessaloniki port to become another base of death by the US-NATO imperialists” is the major slogan of a statement issued by the Central Macedonia Party Organisation of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), on the occasion of the recent visit of the US ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt in the city. 

The US diplomat had visited the port (Greece's second largest) in order to inspect the departure of the 4^th US Airborne Brigade.

WFTU honors the International Women’s Day - against all forms of inequality and exploitation

The World Federation of Trade Unions honors the International Working Women’s Day on 8th March 2019, under the slogan:

“The WFTU against all forms of inequality, against all forms of exploitation”.

162 years after the first uprising of women textile workers in 1857 in New York, claiming the increase of their miserable salaries, the reduction of working hours, equality in payment and social rights, the situation for the working, unemployed and young women, is extremely harsh: unemployment, flexible work, lack of free and high quality health services and healthcare for them and for their children, psychological pressure and violence mainly inside but also outside the workplaces.

Communist Party of Pakistan denounces the frenzy of jingoism between India and Pakistan

The current escalated frenzy of jingoism between India and Pakistan, has created a nonsensical combatant environment in the whole region, followed by heavy cross border shelling and air bombardment which is a total wastage of the national capital in the air. 

No doubt this tension is in the best interest of the religious fanatics and the military establishment, but it has nothing to do with the peoples well-being of both the countries.
