International condemnation over Modi government's repression: Hands Off Indian Communists!

Communist parties from Greece, Britain, Turkey and Bangladesh have expressed solidarity with the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the mass protests against the government of Narendra Modi, following the police crackdown in New Delhi and other parts of India on October 10.

Hundreds of protesters, including CPI(M) General Secretary M. A. Baby, senior communist officials, students and youth activists, were detained as demonstrations challenged the controversial Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. 

 

KKE: Message for the death of Shahidullah Chowdhury, former leader of the Communist Party of Bangladesh

In its condolence message (here in Greek) for the passing of the former President of the Committee of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB), the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) notes:

12th Congress of the Communist Party of Bangladesh

The Twelfth Congress of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) will take place on 25-26 February 2022, the Party's Central Committee has announced.

The Congress was due to held on 10-13 February but it was rescheduled due to Coronavirus pandemic. 

CPB President Mujahidul Islam Selim and General Secretary Comrade Mohammad Shah Alam called upon all party members and workers to make the Twelfth Congress a success on the rescheduled date.

"Fake election with fake ballots": CP of Bangladesh denounces elections' result

The Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) has denounced the 11th Parliamentary elections as a fake election with fake ballots. People will reject this election and the pre-determined result.

CPB President Comrade Mujahidul Islam Selim and General Secretary Comrade Shah Alam said in a briefing on 30th December, 2018 that for ensuring a false victory the ruling AL led government made the blueprint of mockery and electoral fraud much earlier than the election day . They also claimed that the government has destroyed  the minimum basis of democracy in this election.

Hands Off Syria! Communist Parties across the world denounce imperialist barbarity

Communist and Workers' Parties across the world have reacted to the imperialist attack on Syria, strongly condemning the US-Britain-France intervention (to be updated):

"You will surely pay for this crime" say the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) in its statement. "When the people of Syria disrupted your plans, when the reactionary-collaborationist gangs you supported in every way possible were struck by the resistance of the people, you resorted to treachery and fraud".

CP of Bangladesh: Denounces and protests the arrest of garment workers leaders

Seven leaders of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) and Garment Worker Trade Union (GWTUC) were sent to jail on 1^st April, 2018 afternoon when they surrendered at CMM court, Dhaka, after finishing the bail period granted by the High Court, related to a case filed by the association of garments factory owners.

Arrested leaders are, central secretariat member of Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) and General Secretary of Garment Worker Trade Union Center (GWTUC) comrade Joly Talukder, central committee member of CPB and GWTUC comrade Sadekur Rahman Shamim, Organising Secretary of GWTUC comrade K.M.
