The Europarliamentary Group of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) has highlighted the
unacceptable ban in Germany and the Baltic states on Soviet and
anti-fascist symbols, with which people around the world commemorate May
9, the day of the Great Anti-Fascist Victory, through a question
submitted to the European Commission by the KKE MEP, Kostas Papadakis.
Authorities in Germany, as well as in the Baltic states, banned the “display” and posting of Soviet and anti-fascist symbols during the celebrations on May 9, the Day of the Great Anti-Fascist Victory of the Peoples.
