NATO Killers Go Home: Protesters in Greece threw red paint at NATO warships

Members of the Communist Party (KKE), workers, peace activists demonstrated today in the Patras, Greece, against the docking of NATO warships in the city port, 902 portal reported.

Following a rally in the city, the protesters approached the port where they threw red paint at the ships, shouting slogans against the presence of NATO imperialists in the region. 
 
The demonstrators demanded Greece's disengagement from the imperialist war in Ukraine and the closing of all US-NATO military bases in the country.

The mobilization, initiated by the local Peace Committee was also supported and attended by the communist mayor of Patras, Kostas Peletidis.

Yesterday, Sunday, another protest was held in the city, with the protesters unfolding a huge anti-NATO banner in the city port. Patras is Greece's third largest city and a major port in Eastern Mediterranean.
