There are moments when the class character of imperialist aggression reveals itself with brutal clarity. February 25, 2026, was one such moment. Cuban border guards intercepted a Florida-registered speedboat just one nautical mile off Cayo Falcones in Villa Clara province. The vessel carried ten armed Cuban exiles operating from U.S. soil. 

 

When the patrol approached to enforce sovereignty, the infiltrators opened fire. Cuban forces defended themselves, killing four − including at least one U.S. citizen − and wounding six.

Communist Party of Cuba blasts Trump government's threats: We are the country of Patria o Muerte!

In a statement, Roberto Morales Ojeda,  member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, stresses the following (read here in Spanish): 

"From the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), we firmly denounce the new Executive Order issued by President Trump, which seeks to impose a total blockade on fuel supplies to Cuba in order to create greater hardships for our people and to obstruct the construction of our socialist model.

The Farce Of the “Restoration of Democracy” in Venezuela

The absurdities used by the government to justify US imperialist intervention in Venezuela are endless. Government officials, without even blushing, claim that “anyone who disagrees with US actions is siding with the dictator Maduro”. 

 

Walking the same path as the representatives of the right-wing ruling party, New Democracy (ND), are figures from other bourgeois, social-democratic forces as well. Donald Trump, Imperialism’s Gangster-in-Chief

President Donald Trump did not “go too far” in Venezuela. He acted exactly as the system that produced him demands. 

Acting on the crude but deeply rooted imperialist doctrine that power itself is legitimacy, he authorized a military assault and proclaimed the “arrest” of Venezuela’s president — an act that, stripped of euphemisms, amounts to the kidnapping of a sitting head of state.

President Trump, your unhistorical anti-communist crusade will fail — Socialism will triumph!

On 7 November 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump proclaimed the week of 2–8 November as “Anti-Communism Week”, inviting the American people to “honor the victims of communism” and to remember the “devastation caused by one of history’s most destructive ideologies.”

But this proclamation is not a moral gesture — it is an ideological weapon. It revives the same Cold War rhetoric that once justified imperialist wars, fascist coups, and the persecution of workers, intellectuals, and freedom-fighters across the world. Behind Trump’s pompous words stands the oldest lie of the capitalist order: that communism, not capitalism, is the source of human suffering.
