US President Donald Trump doubles down on his desire for forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza to Egypt.

It didn’t start here. It started thousands of years before, and there’s always been violence associated with it. You could get people living in areas that are a lot safer and maybe a lot better and maybe a lot more comfortable”.

Statement by the Communist Party of Israel on the Ceasefire Agreement in Gaza

Communist Party of Israel & Hadash: The Agreement and Ceasefire are Important and Welcomed, but it cannot be sufficient

We welcome the exchange agreement and ceasefire, despite the deadly stalling that characterizes the right-wing government in Israel.

From day one, we called for an agreement that would bring everyone home—prisoners, abductees, detainees and hostages, Israelis and Palestinians alike. Such an agreement was possible and could have saved the lives of tens of thousands of Palestinians and hundreds of Israelis.

The Israeli far-right government is working systematically to disqualify Arab and Left-wing representatives from the Knesset to secure a permanent majority. Netanyahu’s coalition decided to ban Hadash and is still unclear which legislation will be used to ban Islamic Ra’am party. This is done under the false accusation of “support for terrorism”.
