Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV): On Maria Corina Machado and PSUV's media manipulation campaign

The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) rejects the infamous campaign of manipulation undertaken by propaganda laboratories financed by the Government to make public opinion believe that our organization has some kind of political or electoral alliance with the citizen María Corina Machado.

These crude maneuvers are not an isolated fact, but are part of a chain of "false flags" aimed at justifying the assault plan executed by the leadership of the Government-PSUV with the objective of legally intervening into the PCV and subordinating it to their interests.

'Imperialism’s military interventions and proxy wars are destabilising countries in Asia, Latin America, East and West Africa in an aggressive drive to protect Western economic interests and impose political dominance', Carol Stavris told the Communist Party's political committee on Monday evening (August 14).

She said Niger, whose valuable uranium resources are being exploited by the country's former colonial master to feed France's nuclear power industry, had more than ten million people - almost half Niger's population - living in extreme poverty.

Communist Parties denounce judicial attack against the Communist Party of Venezuela

Following the latest assault against the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) by the social democratic government of President Nicolas Maduro, numerous Communist and Workers' Parties across the world express their solidarity with PCV. 

Except from the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), which strongly condemned the decision of the Supreme Court to impose a puppet "leadership" on PCV, more Parties denounce the anti-communist machinations of the PSUV government:

KKE blasts Maduro government's attack on PCV: Hands Off the Communist Party of Venezuela!

In a statement, the International Relations Section of the CC of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) strongly condemns the recent arbitrary judicial sentence of Venezuela's Supreme Court against the Communist Party (PCV) that endorses the imposition of a puppet leadership composed of mercenaries at the service of the high government officials of the PSUV.

The KKE expresses its internationalist solidarity to the Communist Party of Venezuela and its genuine leadership under General Secretary Oscar Figuera. Among others, the statement titled "Hands Off the CP of Venezuela" reads:

Venezuela: Maduro's social democratic regime steps up assault against the Communist Party

The social democratic government of President Nicolas Maduro, has proceeded to an unacceptable and shameful coup against the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV), imposing through a judicial sentence a puppet "leadership" composed of mercenaries. This activity comes as a result of an escalating attack orchestrated by the Venezuelan state against the communists and the country's working class movement.

In a statement, the Communist Party of Ecuador (Partido Comunista de Ecuador- PCE) condemns the assassination of presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio (photo) in Quito and demands the punishment of those responsible for the crime.

The World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) organizes for one more year an International Action Day of Trade Unions for Peace on September the 1st, the dark anniversary of the beginning of the Second World War after the attack of Nazi Germany on Poland.

Denmark's Communist Parties are being reunited

The two Communist Parties of Denmark (DKP and KPiD) issued a public statement announcing their reunification. The statement reads:

"Dear comrades

The 3rd of September this year an important event is taken place in Denmark. After being divided for 30 years Communist Party of Denmark and Communist Party in Denmark are being reunited. The historical force that defined The Communist Party of Denmark since its founding in 1919 are forming the framing for the reunited party. 

KKE: Statement on the murder of 29-year-old man by Croatian fascist hooligans in Athens

A 29-year-old Greek man died yesterday after being stabbed during violent incidents caused by far-right Dinamo Zagreb fans outside AEK FC stadium in Nea Filadelfia, Athens. 

 

At least 10 persons were wounded, one of them being in serious condition. The events took place a day before the Champions League qualifier game between AEK Athens and Dinamo Zagreb, which has now been postponed.

On July 26, 2023, in Niamey, Niger, President Mohamed Bazoum was overthrown by Abourahamane Tiani, the former head of the presidential guard who had served him for 10 years, with the help of part of the Nigerien military apparatus and the active support of a large part of the Nigerien masses, as witnessed by the demonstration on Sunday July 30, which brought together thousands of demonstrators in front of the French embassy.

Niger coup: Why West Africa has become the center of inter-imperialist standoff

The military coup d'etat of July 26th in Niger, which deposed pro-French President Mohammad Bazoum, is part of the broader imperialist confrontation of the Western powers (USA, NATO, EU) with Russia and China. Reactionary Ukrainian authorities remove sickle and hammer from giant WWII statue in Kiev

In another attempt to re-write history and guided by blind anti-communism, the Ukrainian authorities proceeded to the removal of the hammer and sickle from a gigantic sculptural figure that watches over Kiev, as part of a campaign to remove Soviet-era symbols.

The 62-metre-high steel figure of a woman holding a shield with the hammer and sickle and a sword, was opened in 1981 as a memorial to Soviet victory in World War II.

CPI (Marxist): Arrest Killers of Subhash Munda

The Political Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) strongly condemns the cold blooded murder of Subhash Munda, member of the Jharkhand State Committee of the Party. He was shot dead at his office at Daladli Chowk, Ranchi on July 26.

34-year old Munda was a popular leader in Nagri area in Ranchi district, who was in the forefront of struggles to protect the rights of tribals and other poor and marginalized sections.
