Venezuela's legitimate communists DO NOT SUPPORT Nicolas Maduro presidential candidacy

On Wednesday, March 20, the country witnessed a new farce: Nicolas Maduro Moros proclaimed himself a candidate of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) for the presidential elections scheduled for July 28. 

 

In order to to this, he relied on his political puppets who tried to legitimize a mediocre act of political servility by using the symbols of the Red Rooster.

The second phase of the XVI National Conference of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) held on Sunday, March 17, agreed "to propose to the Venezuelan people, in particular to its working class and to the allied forces of the popular, authentically democratic, patriotic, anti-imperialist and revolutionary camp the presidential candidacy of journalist Manuel Isidro Molina.” 

The announcement was made by the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the PCV, Oscar Figuera in a public statement to the media after the meeting of one of the highest leadership bodies of the Venezuelan communists.

Indignation and total rejection has been registered in the last hours in the ranks of the Communist Party of Venezuela after President Nicolás Maduro confirmed his participation in the judicial assault on the PCV on January 4 and declared -without any proof- that the legitimate leadership, elected by the XVI National Congress, had "surrendered" to "corruption" and "imperialism".

The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) denounces before the public opinion a new phase of the aggression maintained by the leadership of the Government of Nicolás Maduro and the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) aimed at "neutralizing the political action of the legitimate leadership elected by the Venezuelan communists". 

PCV: Maduro Government negotiates with US while the people bear the burden of sanctions

The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) denounced on Monday that the government of President Nicolás Maduro negotiates with the US administration while the Venezuelan people bear the burden of unilateral coercive measures.

The statement was made regarding the most recent declarations by PSUV lawmaker José Gregorio Vielma Mora, who assured that the government leadership "suffers" for not being able to increase salaries. 

 

Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV): On Maria Corina Machado and PSUV's media manipulation campaign

The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) rejects the infamous campaign of manipulation undertaken by propaganda laboratories financed by the Government to make public opinion believe that our organization has some kind of political or electoral alliance with the citizen María Corina Machado.

These crude maneuvers are not an isolated fact, but are part of a chain of "false flags" aimed at justifying the assault plan executed by the leadership of the Government-PSUV with the objective of legally intervening into the PCV and subordinating it to their interests.

Communist Parties denounce judicial attack against the Communist Party of Venezuela

Following the latest assault against the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) by the social democratic government of President Nicolas Maduro, numerous Communist and Workers' Parties across the world express their solidarity with PCV. 

Except from the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), which strongly condemned the decision of the Supreme Court to impose a puppet "leadership" on PCV, more Parties denounce the anti-communist machinations of the PSUV government:

KKE blasts Maduro government's attack on PCV: Hands Off the Communist Party of Venezuela!

In a statement, the International Relations Section of the CC of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) strongly condemns the recent arbitrary judicial sentence of Venezuela's Supreme Court against the Communist Party (PCV) that endorses the imposition of a puppet leadership composed of mercenaries at the service of the high government officials of the PSUV.

The KKE expresses its internationalist solidarity to the Communist Party of Venezuela and its genuine leadership under General Secretary Oscar Figuera. Among others, the statement titled "Hands Off the CP of Venezuela" reads:

The social democratic government of President Nicolas Maduro, has proceeded to an unacceptable and shameful coup against the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV), imposing through a judicial sentence a puppet "leadership" composed of mercenaries. This activity comes as a result of an escalating attack orchestrated by the Venezuelan state against the communists and the country's working class movement.
