A resolution on the “creation of a special tribunal for Russia” was adopted on 19/1/23 by the People’s Party, the Social Democrats, the Liberals, the Greens and far-right groups in the European Parliament. The 2 KKE MEPs voted against it.

Azouz, a native of Aleppo, was a long-time member of the central leadership of Al-Baath Arab Socialist Party.
In a statement, the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) stresses out:
"With great sorrow, the WFTU informs about the passing away of comrade Mohammad Shaban Azouz who served as president of the WFTU.
Dutch communists: "The Netherlands should not be a transit port for the US military"
At Vlissingen port, 1,275 US tanks, armoured vehicles and other military equipment are currently being unloaded and transported across Dutch territory to Poland and Lithuania. They are destined for a US land force unit, which will be stationed there to further increase pressure on Russia.

This phrase captures the feelings of millions of communists and other progressive people who understood that the overthrow of socialism and the dissolution of the Soviet Union would mean a major social setback for the working people all over the world.

The monarchy in Greece didn't arise as in other states, as a remnant of the transition from feudalism to capitalism, but was introduced after the 1821 Revolution as a result of the direct intervention of the “Great Powers” of the time (Great Britain, France, Russia), in collaboration with part of the rising Greek bourgeoisie. As an institution, it didn't evolve into a “decorative ornament”, as it happened in other capitalist states, but retained its role as a center of power, always embedded in the framework of the bourgeois state with direct links to international capitalist centers.

More specifically, a statement issued by the CPK stresses out: On January 11, 2023, at about 5 am, three uniformed police officers stormed the home of Felix's parents in Mumbuni, Kitui and took Felix's life with several gunshots. Felix was shot right in front of his parents and siblings. His murder was carried out only a few days after President Ruto appeared on national TV to assure the Kenyans that extra-judicial killings common with every successive regime in Kenya would be a thing of the past.

This December, 30 years have passed since the ratification of the Maastricht Treaty, which marked a closer transnational union at the economic, political, and military level of European capital with the transformation of the European Economic Community (EEC) into the European Union (EU). This meant a new, heavier yoke on the people by the monopolies.
