The last war on Iran was a war of aggression launched by Israel, it
is a war of colonial domination over the region, fully coordinated and
mandated by the US administration and the West. In the past the wars
launched by the US on the region were under flimsy pretexts such as the
destruction of "weapons of mass destruction", the elimination of
dictatorships, and in the Iranian case the elimination of Iran's desire
"to possess nuclear weapons", which Iran has repeatedly denied through
its leaders, for many years.
It is true that this war of aggression
has captured world public opinion, but the eye should always be on the
genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza, which did not stop during
the aggression against Iran and is still ongoing.
The CC warned that the war of colonial domination over Iran, which all reports indicate has not achieved its goals, by eliminating the Iranian nuclear project, will not stop at Iran, but will reach all countries that carry the elements of countries with "regional power."
Turkey is part of the axis of colonial domination over the region and has won its share of Syria and Iraq so far, which indicates that Egypt may be exposed to the risk of a "deterrent" war, if it does not fully comply with the American will, especially in everything related to its position on the Palestinian issue.
The CC warns that despite the massacres and the war of extermination on Gaza, Israel has so far not been able to achieve its goals from this war, except the extermination of the Palestinian people, and that the liberation of the hostages was only through negotiations and agreements.
The war of starvation against the Palestinian people was a war crime for which the rulers of Israel are being prosecuted. We do not forget the parallel war of extermination taking place against the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank, where crimes and massacres are being conducted by settlers, with the support and cover of the occupation army, and the imposition of new settlement incidents daily in the West Bank. We stress here that the entire Middle East region will not witness stability, even if all Arab countries normalize and Israel and the US exercise their hegemony over the region, as long as the Palestinian people do not exercise their right to self-determination, and establish their independent Palestinian state, on the borders of the fourth of June 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital.
On the other hand, we in the Communist Party and the Hadash will continue our unwavering struggle against this criminal war in Gaza together with all the democratic forces in the "Peace Partnership" alliance and against the deepening fascism in Israeli society led by Netanyahu himself.
- The fascistic practices in Israel continue attacking freedoms and political action against every voice against this extremist government and its bloody policies, and at a time when the Arab masses are being persecuted within Israel, the machine of repression also reaches the progressive Jewish anti-war forces in the Israeli street, and we also mention here the prosecutions against our comrades in the Tel Aviv district, who are demonstrating weekly in protest of this war, as in Jerusalem, Umm el-Fahem, Haifa and the Galil.
- Our parliamentary faction is facing a fierce attack in which the coalition converges with the majority of the parliamentary opposition, and these days, our comrade Ayman Odeh is facing a fierce attack to exclude him completely from the Knesset, while the so-called "Ethics Committee" in the Knesset, also continues to impose sanctions on our comrades, it imposed on Odeh deportation for two weeks, and imposed a heavy fine, and the deportation of comrade Aida Touma-Suleiman for 3 days, and before this comrade Ofer Cassif had been expelled from the Knesset twice, with a total of 8 months, and also the suspension of comrade Aida Touma two months earlier, all because of the expression of a clear and firm political position against the war.
Central Committee Decisions
An extensive discussion took place between the members of the Central Committee and the Central Control Committee, and the following decisions were taken:
- The Central Committee approved the holding of the 29th General Periodic Congress of the Party, on January 15, 2026, and approved a preparatory committee, to start preparing for the conference at all levels, from preparing the draft report of the Central Committee, preparing for a general census of the Party, and inviting all branches and regional bodies to start organizational preparation for the conference, to be a new lever in the life of the Party and its struggles.
- The party's Central Committee calls on the progressive forces and the Arab masses in the country to intensify the popular struggle against the war of extermination, which has been going on for nearly 21 months, with full actual US support and open international complicity with the Israeli war machine against the Palestinian people and the peoples of the region, especially the Lebanese and Syrians, which means supporting the most extreme and vicious Israeli governments.
- The Central Committee reaffirms the political statement issued by our party and the Iranian Tudeh party against the Israeli-US aggression against Iran.
- The Central Committee sends its fraternal greetings to the fraternal communist and workers parties for the struggle against this genocidal war, and for the solidarity actions with the Palestinian people, and for the solidarity messages with our members of Knesset.
- The Central Committee confirms its support for Comrade MP Ayman Odeh in the process of excluding him from the Knesset, and said, that this repeated process for the second time in less than a year, preceded by an attempt to exclude our comrade Ofer Cassif, who was expelled for 6 months, reaffirms the true face of the majority of the parliamentary opposition, which extends its hand to this repressive process, even if the process fails to secure 90 MKs, and all possibilities are contained, but it confirms the existence of a decisive and dangerous majority that supports the approach of suppressing freedoms, and against all Who raises his voice against the government, its bloody and racist policies.
- At the same time, the Central Committee affirms its support for Comrade Aida Touma-Sliman and all the MKs of the Hadash-Ta'al faction, which has been facing exceptional persecution in the Knesset and on the streets for two years.
- The Central Committee renews its previous decision, as well as those of the Democratic Front for Peace and Equality (Hadash), to expand the field alliance initiated by the Front against the war, and calls for the broadest electoral alliance, based on a clearly defined political program, based on firm political foundations.
