KKE MEP slams EU and US support on Cuban counterrevolutionary José Daniel Ferrer

Left: KKE MEP Lefteris Nikolaou-Alavanos; Right: Cuban
counterrevolutionary Jose Daniel Ferrer.
As 902 portal reported, during an intervention in the Plenary of the European Parliament in Strasburg, the MEP of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) Lefteris Nikolaou-Alavanos denounced the hypocritical stance of the E.U and the U.S. regarding the human rights situation in Cuba.

More specifically, during the discussion titled "Cuba, the case of  José Daniel Ferrer", the KKE MEP pointed out the following:

"José Daniel Ferrer, whom you are trying to present as a hero through a resolution, is the head of the so-called 'Patriotic Union of Cuba' (UNPACU), the most active group of counterrevolutionaries in the country. He was arrested by Cuban authorities after a citizen's complaint that he (Ferrer) and three other likeminded individuals beated him heavily resulting to his hospitalization.

The arguments about mistreatment, insufficient quantity of food, etc, are lies created by the government of the USA and its embassy in Havana, in order to present its puppets as "victims".

Ferrer is another one individual who is more recognizable in the U.S. and EU staffs rather than in his country and the Cuban people.

We denounce the EU-made "industry" of selective protection of supposed "activists", the a la carte hypocritical concerns of the EU about human rights' abuse, that consist a known tool for the more effective infiltration of european monopolies in other countries, especially when these countries have no governments that the EU, or her member-states, prefer".
