Britain’s Communists condemn racist Immigration Bill

'People seeking to build a new life in Britain are being targeted by those who want to divide us', Tony Conway told the Communist Party's political committee on Monday evening (March 27).

'The Tory government at Westminster, the far right and the big business media are using every weapon to stigmatise migrants and asylum seekers instead of addressing the real economic and social problems facing working people and their families', he added.

Britain: Young Communist League (YCL) calls for action against new Tory anti-strike laws

The Young Communist League (YCL) has issued the following statement in response to the Conservative Party's plans for new laws attacking trade unions and the right to strike in Britain: 

"This week’s announcement by Rishi Sunak’s Tory government that they intend to introduce new legislation attacking trade unions and the right to strike in Britain must be met with determined and united resistance by the labour movement.

Rishi Sunak, just another enemy of the working class

Rishi Sunak, a 42 years-old former Goldman Sachs employee, is the new leader of the British Conservative Party and third Prime Minister of the country in just two months. 

The fact that Boris Johnson and Liz Truss are out of 10 Downing Street isn't a reason for celebrations as Sunak is just another political representative of monopoly capitalism and certainly an enemy of the working class.

British communists on Johnson government's collapse: "Downing Street change not enough"

"The rats are jumping the Johnson ship – but a change of Conservative leaders will not alter the government’s pro-big business, anti-democratic, racist and war mongering agenda", Tony Conway told the Communist Party’s political committee on Tuesday evening (July 5).

As the news of ministerial resignations broke, Britain’s Communists called for a united response from trade unions and campaigning movements to the cost of living, housing, climate change and food crises.

British Communist Youth blasts Boris Johnson's government for "criminal response" to COVID-19

The Young Communist League of Britain has issued the following statement on the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis unfolding and the criminal failure of Boris Johnson’s Tory government to protect working people in Britain.

The rapid spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) from Wuhan in China to all corners of the planet has now been classified as a pandemic by the World Health Organisation (“WHO”). As well as directly affecting the hundreds of thousands who have contracted the virus, it has led to worry and fear for billions of working people everywhere.
