To question the description of Elon Musk as a “genius,” along with similar descriptions bestowed on numerous other capitalists throughout history, is not to make a clinical assessment of his intelligence. It is to reject the bourgeois ideological myth according to which technological progress is the creation of individual “genius” capitalists operating within a supposedly passive society, rather than the product of collective labor and accumulated social knowledge.

But a trillion dollars is not a measure of talent. It is rather a measure of power.

India's communists oppose Elon Musk's Starlink entry in the country

The Political Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) opposes the permission given by the government of India to Elon Musk’s Starlink to commence its operations in India.  More specifically, a statement by CPIM points out:

"There is no transparency in the entire process of how Starlink was accorded permission to operate in our country. StarLink is a foreign corporation and handing over India’s critical infrastructure to foreign hands has serious security implications. It provides a backdoor to US agencies into our telecom system and even our strategic communications.

Recently, Alice Weidel, the frontwoman of Germany’s far-right AfD party, was interviewed by tycoon and Trump supporter Elon Musk. In their much-publicized virtual conversation, Weidel blurted out that Hitler was a “communist” and a “socialist” in order to show the distance that supposedly separates her from Nazism, since Hitler was “not a conservative” or “a libertarian” and that her party and she are “exactly the opposite”.

Arch-capitalists Donald Trump and Elon Musk openly threaten workers who go on strike

Two of the world's most prominent capitalists, former U.S President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, can't hide their deep enmity against the working class. On the contrary, they express it publicly and even share a laugh about it. Shamelessly and Cynically.

Here is an excerpt of their discussion during Trump's interview to X (Twitter) on Monday:

“I look at what you do, you walk in and you just say, ‘You want to quit?’ They go on strike – I won’t mention the name of the company – but they go on strike, and you say, ‘That’s okay, you’re all gone. You’re all gone. Every one of you is gone,” Trump said. Musk could be heard laughing and replying “yeah”.
