An internationalist event dedicated to the 108th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution will take place in Athens on 22–23 November, organised by the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) under the theme: “Timely messages of the October Revolution in our contemporary struggle for socialism under conditions of imperialist war.”
Approximately 25 Communist and Workers’ Parties from around the world will participate in the gathering.

Parties from the following countries are mentioned: Algeria, Argentina, Austria, Venezuela, France, Germany, Denmark, the USA, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Pakistan, Palestine, Paraguay, Russia, Sweden, Turkey and Finland.
The opening session of the event will be held on Saturday, 22 November, at 19:00, at the headquarters of the Central Committee of the KKE in Perissos. The General Secretary of the Central Committee of the KKE, Dimitris Koutsoumbas, will deliver the central speech. The programme will be followed by a cultural event featuring internationalist songs. Attendance requires an invitation.
During the same period, the meeting of the Parties of the European Communist Initiative will also take place, focusing on coordination of action among Communist and Workers’ Parties in Europe.
