We start this contribution by thanking the Communist Party of Cuba for its work in the organization of this 22nd International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties in Havana. We acknowledge the effort this important event for discussion on current and useful issues for the development of class struggle in our countries entails for the Party and the Cuban people.

Resolution to Condemn the Blockade and to Stand in Solidarity with Cuba

The undersigned delegations attending the 22^nd International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties, held in Havana in October 2022 express: 

Our strongest condemnation of the unjust, illegal and inhumane blockade maintained by the government of the United States against Cuba and demand, once again, its immediate and unconditional end. 

We urge the international community to demand that the U.S. government comply with the numerous UN General Assembly Resolutions condemning the blockade and calling for its lifting.

Dear comrades,

We are holding the 22^nd International Meeting of Communist and Workers’ Parties in the face of the difficulties caused by the pandemic. We are meeting here, in Havana, to continue the effort that began in 1998 in Athens and in the years that followed travelled to many regions across the world.

The 22nd IMCWP kicks off in Havana, Cuba

Delegates from 65 countries from all continents have gathered in Havana in order to attend the 22nd International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties (IMCWP) which is taking place between 27-29 October at the Havana Convention Palace.

"United we are stronger" is the slogan of the event in which representatives of 82 political forces and 31 delegations headed by their presidents or general secretaries will participate.

Havana, Cuba's capital city, will be the hosting place of the 22nd International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties (IMCWP) on October 27-29, 2022.

The theme of the 22nd IMCWP will be: “Solidarity with Cuba and all the struggling people. MOTION AGAINST ANTI-COMMUNISM IN EUROPE

Pyongyang to host the International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties in 2020

Pyongyang, the capital city of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), will be the hosting place of the 22nd International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties (IMCWP) in 2020. The hosting party will be the Worker's Party of Korea. 

The above was unanimously agreed in the last session of the 21st IMCWP which took place in Izmir, Turkey from 18 to 20 October, being co-hosted by the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) and the Communist Party of Greece (KKE).

21st International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties: The opening speeches by Dimitris Koutsoumbas and Kemal Okuyan

The 21st International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties (IMCWP) kicked off today, Friday 18 October, in Izmir, with the participation of 75 Parties from 61 countries. 

The hosting Parties are the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) and the Communist Party of Greece (KKE). The meeting takes place between 18 and 20 of October.

More than 70 Communist Parties to participate in the 21st International Meeting in Izmir

The General Secretary of the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) Kemal Okuyan and the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) Dimitris Koutsoumbas will deliver speeches in the opening event of the 21st International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties (IMCWP) which will take place in Izmir between 18 and 20 October. 

According to 902 portal, Dimitris Koutsoumbas will be the head of a large delegation of the KKE, including Giorgos Marinos, member of the Poltical Bureau and MP, Elisseos Vagenas, member of the Central Committee and responsible of the Party's International Relations Section, the Party's MEP Lefteris Nikolaou-Alavanos and Aris Evangelidis, member of the International Relations Section of the KKE. 

The 21st International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties (IMCWP) to be hosted in Izmir on 18-20 October

The  Turkish city of Izmir will be the hosting place of the 21st International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties (IMCWP) which will take place on October 18-20, under the shared responsibility of the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) and the Communist Party of Greece (KKE).

As soL portal reports, the theme of the meeting will be “100th Anniversary of the founding of the Communist International: The fight for peace and socialism continues!”

The 21st International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties to be held in Izmir, Turkey

The Working Group Meeting of the 21st International Meeting of the Communist and Workers' Parties (IMCWP), hosted by the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) and the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), in Izmir, Turkey on June 8th.

Delegates from 25 Communist and Workers Parties attended the event.

The Working Group Meeting decided that the 21st IMCWP, which will be jointly organized by the TKP and the KKE, will take place in the city of Izmir on October 2019.
