The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) has announced that its 22nd Congress will be held from 29–31 January 2026 in Athens under the slogan: “Strong KKE, stable in every trial, ready for History’s call to Socialism.”

A pre-Congress debate will follow, involving both internal party structures and the youth wing (KNE), as well as public discussion through party publications.

Key themes include strengthening grassroots organizations, expanding membership, particularly among workers and women, and improving the reach of party media.
