The Communist Party of Mexico (PCM) is stepping
up its political and electoral intervention with an ambitious
objective: to contest the presidency in 2030 and strengthen an
independent communist alternative to both the governing Morena and
the traditional parties of capital.
The Mexican daily El Universal spotlighted the Party in a report headlined: “We want to win the presidency in 2030: Communist Party of Mexico is alive and seeks permanent power”. The report highlights the PCM’s determination to expand its national presence and intervene more decisively in Mexico’s political life.
