“Dear members and cadres of the Communist Party of Greece,
Dear brothers and sisters of the Greek people who responded to the call of the KKE and took part in this important event,
We extend our warm greetings to all of you.
Turkey and Greece share a dark chapter in their history: both countries joined NATO in 1952, during its first wave of expansion. For 74 years, the working people in our countries have suffered under this yoke—yet we remain steadfast in our conviction that our common struggle on both sides of the Aegean will soon put an end to this disgrace.
As conflicts within the imperialist system and the profiteering of multinational monopolies drive the world toward war, the only way to protect our peoples is to disengage from NATO, shut down foreign military bases, and bring an end to capitalist domination in our countries. We must intensify the struggle in our countries, both to confront the imperialist system and to put an end to the aggression against the Iranian people and the threats targeting socialist Cuba.
The Communist Party of Turkey is preparing a strong response against the NATO summit to be held in Ankara this coming July. You can be certain that the warmongers who threaten the peoples of the world will not be welcome in our country.
We call upon the Greek people to resist Greece’s involvement in the imperialist war, to demand the closure of U.S. and NATO bases, and to join the ranks of the struggle led by the KKE for the overthrow of this exploitative capitalist system.

“Dear comrades of the Communist Party of Greece,
We extend to you our fraternal greetings!
We salute your struggle, the masses of young men and women, students, workers—men and women alike—and all those who are fighting against the policies that impoverish peoples and violate their sovereignty; against the enrichment of capitalists and all those who profit from imperialist wars in Greece, Israel, the region, and the world—the most recent of which is the imperialist war of aggression against Lebanon and Iran.
Comrades,
The fascism that controls the government in Israel continues its genocide in proud Gaza and its ethnic cleansing in the steadfast West Bank, carried out through the terror exercised by settlers and the occupying army.
This same fascist government continues to oppress Palestinians and the anti-government left within Israel.
Bringing this war to an end means overthrowing this government—and overthrowing this government means ending the war.
There are neither magical nor quick solutions!
Only through persistent revolutionary struggle and international solidarity will the communists defeat these criminal governments and advance toward a future of socialist justice—for the rights, the interests, and the sovereignty of peoples and working people.
Only through the exercise of the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state alongside Israel can stability and peace prevail.
No to NATO’s presence on Greek soil!
No to U.S. and foreign military bases throughout our region!

Message by the Tudeh Party of Iran
“Dear comrades,
The Tudeh Party of Iran extends its warm greetings and solidarity to the leadership and militants of the KKE, as well as to all their allies in the popular movement, on the occasion of the mass event titled: ‘Now, militant alignment with the KKE – No sacrifices for their profits and their wars.’
The Tudeh Party thanks the KKE for organizing this event at a time when the people of Iran are subjected to a violent and unlawful attack by U.S. imperialism and the criminal regime of Netanyahu—an attack that threatens to reshape the Middle East in favor of the most reactionary regional forces and brings the world to the brink of catastrophe.
The Tudeh Party of Iran joins its voice with yours in condemning U.S. imperialism, Israel, and the NATO countries that have supported this U.S.–Israeli assault against Iran, including by allowing the use of their military bases and other facilities to facilitate this war.
The United States and Israel are brutally attacking civilian targets and committing war crimes, including the destruction of ports, power plants, infrastructure and industrial facilities, universities, schools, and hospitals, in an attempt to force Iran to ‘return to the Stone Age.’
The Tudeh Party supports an immediate ceasefire and a genuine diplomatic process to secure lasting peace, the end of sanctions, and a future to be determined by the people of Iran—and by them alone.
