"The anti-communist campaign of the social-democratic PSUV government against the CP of Venezuela is further escalating, following the unacceptable decision of the Supreme Court of Justice, which in August 2023 outlawed the CP of Venezuela and recognized a group of paid agents of government representatives in its place.
The PSUV's attack, with the complicity of right-wing reactionary forces, is now directed against the elected MP and General Secretary of the CP of Venezuela, comrade Oscar Figuera, announcing the usurpation of the Party's seat in the National Assembly. This event is the culmination of the undemocratic proceedings of the National Assembly overthe last years, during which comrade Figuera was systematically denied the right to speak.
The KKE condemns the escalation of anti-communist measures and expresses its internationalist solidarity with the CP of Venezuela and comrade Oscar Figuera. We express our solidarity with the Venezuelan people who are suffering the consequences of the imperialist aggression and the anti-people's policy of the PSUV."

Manos fuera del diputado y Secretario General del Partido Comunista de Venezuela, Oscar Figuera
La campaña anticomunista del gobierno socialdemócrata del PSUV contra el Partido Comunista de Venezuela (PCV) se intensifica aún más, tras la inaceptable sentencia del Tribunal Supremo de Justicia de agosto de 2023 que ilegaliza al PCV y reconoce como tal a un grupo de mercenarios - representantes del gobierno.
El ataque del PSUV, con la complicidad de fuerzas de la derecha reaccionaria, se dirige ahora contra el diputado electo y Secretario General del PCV, camarada Oscar Figuera, anunciando esencialmente la usurpación de la diputación del PCV en la Asamblea Nacional. Este acontecimiento es la culminación de los procedimientos antidemocráticos de la Asamblea Nacional en años anteriores, durante los cuales se negó sistemáticamente el derecho de palabra al camarada Figuera.
El KKE condena la escalada de las medidas anticomunistas y expresa su solidaridad internacionalista con el PCV y con elcamarada Oscar Figuerra. Expresamos nuestra solidaridad con el pueblo venezolano que sufre las consecuencias de la agresión imperialista y la política antipopular del PSUV.
