Greek anti-imperialists honored the victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

Hundreds of workers, young men and women, members and friends of the anti-imperialist movement in Thessaloniki, Greece's second largest city, participated in a demonstration organized by the city's Committee for International Detente and Peace honoring the 73rd anniversary since the nuclear crime in Hiroshima and Nagasaki

Under the slogans "Americans, murderers of the people" and "the imperialists are rediving the earth, with the people's blood they are redrawing the borders", the demonstrators marched throughout the city's central streets and expressed their solid opposition to NATO and the imperialist plans, as well as Greece's participation in them.

A respective militant protest was held in Athens, under the rock of the Acropolis, organized by EEDYE. Hundreds of people gathered in the event expressing their condemnation towards the imperialist plans and wars and demanded the closure of all NATO bases in the country. The protesters held a minute's silence for the victims of the nuclear imperialist crime in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
