Israeli fascists attack Hadash leader Ayman Odeh, chant "death to Arabs"

Hadash-Ta'al chairman and Knesset member Ayman Odeh was attacked during a protest in Ness Ziona on Saturday evening when a mob of right-wing extremists surrounded his car, spat at him, and caused significant damage to the vehicle, including cracking the windshield and damaging the fender.

According to the "Jerusalem Post", although police forces were present at the scene, no arrests were made. Eyewitnesses reported that the officers took minimal action, choosing instead to "contain" the situation rather than intervene forcefully.

The Communist Party of the Workers of Spain (PCTE) condemns with all its strength the fatal attacks against migrant people and people of migrant descent in Torre Pacheco, Murcia. These facts were not isolated, but inscribed in a dangerous reactionary escalation in our country.

The PCTE denounces that a narrative deliberately associating migration and criminality is being implemented and normalized in the public debate and the general common sense. Such relation has no rigorous statistical support.

At the 34^th Anti-Imperialist Camp of the Communist Youth of Greece (KNE), which was attended by thousands of young people, the publication “On the socialist state: The History that Teaches Us, the History that Remains to Be Written - Conference of the CC of the KKE” was presented by Loukas Anastasopoulos, a member of the CC and head of its Ideological Committee.

 

Mexico: Mayor of Cuauhtémoc orders the removal of the statues of Fidel Castro and Che Guevara

In a completely unjustifiable decision, the mayor of Cuauhtémoc Municipality in Mexico City, ordered the removal of the sculptures of Fidel Castro and Che Guevara which had been placed in 2017 in Tabacalera gardens as a reminder of their first meeting in 1955.

In a report, the official gazette of the Communist Party of Mexico (PCM) "El Machete", stresses out that the argument put forward by Mayor Alessandra Rojo de la Vega was the lack of formal permits for its placement, despite the fact that the work had been there for several years and was recognized by residents and passersby. 

Communist Initiative of Cyprus: On the anniversary of the treacherous coup and the Turkish invasion

In a statement on the 51st anniversary of the treacherous coup and the 1974 Turkish military invasion, the Communist Initiative of Cyprus stresses out the following:

"The twin crimes of 1974, the treacherous coup and the Turkish invasion during Black July 1974 did not come out of nowhere. The Athens Junta and EOKA II opened the back door to Attila by carrying out the crime against Cyprus and the Cypriot people. A crime that was the result of a long-lasting process by the darkest circles of the USA and NATO that led to the culmination of the treason of the Junta and EOKA II that handed over half of Cyprus to Turkey.

In response to a despicable attack on the KKE following the passing of comrade Ammar Bakdash

Some people are constantly trying to strike a blow against the KKE, even resorting to dirty and unethical means in the process. The spokesperson for the non-existent “Collective Struggle for the Revolutionary Unification of Humanity” (D. Patelis), which never had and still has no ties to the working class and the popular forces of our country, launched yet another provocative attack, which was reproduced by other groups of the so-called “World Anti-Imperialist Platform”.

In a statement about a highly controversial concert given by far-right Croatian singer Marko Perković (Thompson) on 5 July in Zagreb, the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Yugoslavia stresses out:

"The New Communist Party of Yugoslavia expresses its deep concern and outrage over the recent concert held by the singer Thompson in Zagreb. Although formally announced as a musical event, the concert was in fact organized and staged as a political rally, with the full support and participation of the Croatian Catholic Church. 

European Parliament Resolution whitewashes Syria's Jihadist regime

In a statement (here in Greek), the Europarliament Group of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) denounces the recent resolution - jointly adopted by the European People's Party (EPP), Social Democrats (S&D), Liberals, the Far-right and Greens – regarding the situation in Syria. 

 

The Resolution, which was issued  on the occasion of the terrorist bomb attack at Mar Elias Greek Orthodox Church in Damascus, consists a “whitewash of the reactionary government of the Jihadists, who have been dressed with Euro-Atlantic costumes and “sat on the neck” of the Syrian people, following the long-standing interventions of USA-NATO-EU and the military assistance of Turkey and Israel, which also occupy Syrian territories”, the KKE statement reads and adds:

 

Ammar Bakdash, General Secretary of the Syrian Communist Party, dies at 71

Ammar Bakdash, General Secretary of the CC of the Syrian Communist Party, has died aged 71. He was the chairman of the Financial Laws Committee of the People's Assembly of Syria, until the assembly was suspended after the fall of the Assad government and the imposition of the Jihadist regime.

Ayman Odeh: The real struggle in Israel is between Fascism and Democracy

Nationwide demonstrations calling for a Gaza cease-fire and hostage release deal, as well as protests far-right Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, were scheduled to take place on Saturday night, July 12, as negotiations between Israel and Hamas have reportedly stalled.

Hadash MK Ayman Odeh was the main speaker at the weekly demonstration in the Jewish-Arab city of Haifa, he asserts that the “real struggle” in Israel is “between fascism and democracy” and “between occupation and freedom.”

Iranian Marxism and its main challenges

Two days before Israel launched an attack on Iran, the Tel Aviv branch of the Communist Party of Israel (Maki) hosted a meeting on the topic of Iranian Marxism. This was as part of the series of lectures on Marxism in the Middle East. The meeting, held online, included a lecture by N., an exiled Iranian Marxist, who asked that his name not be published.

We, the Partido Comunista de Venezuela (Communist Party of Venezuela, PCV), believe it is necessary to participate in this debate, not only because we have been mentioned, but because we are convinced of the need to speak the truth about the economic, social, and political situation in Venezuela, and confront manipulations and deceptions that distort objective reality.

Aleka Papariga: The KKE’s stance towards bourgeois governments is a valuable tool for our current struggles

“Under capitalism, no government is an independent authority. Power is exercised by the bourgeoisie, and the bourgeois state is the instrument of its power, to which all institutions are subordinate. The decisions of the EU and NATO are binding and take precedence over national constitutions and national legislation. Governments of bourgeois management cannot and do not want to abolish the law of laws: capitalist profit. The defence of the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie by all means is inevitable and obligatory. Communist Party of Israel: Report of the Party's Central Committee towards the 29th Congress

In the meeting of the 16th session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Israel, the Central Committee approved the holding of the party's 29^thcongress, on January 15, 2026- emphasizing that this congress is held under drastic and dramatic changes in Israel and the region. The Central Committee calls on cadres to prepare, in parallel with the intensification of the struggle and voices against the genocide and the government's repressive policies, and affirms its support for comrade Ayman Odeh, in the face of the process of his exclusion from the Knesset, and with comrade Aida Touma against the continuous measures against her, and all Hadash-Ta'al MKs, for expressing political positions of clear rejection to the genocidal war.  

PCV leader Oscar Figuera: "We urge the Communist Party of Chile to reflect on the situation in Venezuela"

The 34th Anti-Imperialist Camp of the Communist Youth of Greece (KNE), the young wing of the KKE, was successfully held at Alissos, Peloponnese from 2 to 6 of July. The events culminated on Friday 4 July with a political rally in the city of Patras, well as with an anti-imperialist demonstration at Araxos military base on Saturday 5 July.

Zohran Mamdani, a self-proclaimed socialist and member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), defeated former governor Andrew Cuomo to secure the party’s nomination for mayor. Supporters quickly declared the result a major breakthrough for the socialist movement. However, this development is less a victory than it is a reflection of a broader contradiction facing the U.S. left: the attempt to reconcile socialist rhetoric with participation in a party fundamentally loyal to capital.

With a new despicable memorandum signed by US President Donald Trump, the US administration has further intensified its measures of barbaric imperialist blockade and efforts to undermine Cuba. ‘With the peoples, all the way to freedom - against the system of injustice and war!’ This is the message of the thousands of young people from across Greece who have responded to the call of the Communist Youth of Greece (KNE) and will be meeting at the 34^th Anti-Imperialist Camp of KNE.

The Camp will take place from 2 to 6 July in Alissos, Achaia. As part of the event,  there will be a rally in Patras on Friday 4 July in the afternoon, where Dimitris Koutsoumbas, GS of the CC of the KKE, and Thodoris Kotsandis, Secretary of the Central Committee of KNE, will speak.
