PCV demands answers from the government over the presence of the CIA chief in Venezuela

The Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) demanded that the government leadership provide clear and transparent explanations regarding the presence in the country of the Director of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), John Ratcliffe, whom it described as “a nefarious figure for the peoples of the world,” and whose visit — the Party denounced — has not been officially communicated to the Venezuelan people.

Fethullah Gülen, the islamic preacher and businessman who resides in Pennsylvania, is today regarded as the number one enemy of Tayyip Erdogan's AKP government which has repeatedly asked for his extradition to Turkey.

One gusano less: CIA-trained terrorist Luis Posada Carriles dies at 91

The most infamous terrorist in the Western Hemisphere, Luis Posada Carriles, died on May 23 in Miami, without paying his debts to justice or reparations to a single one of his victims.

The United States protected Posada Carriles until his final days, training him to plant bombs and carry out terrorist attacks against hundreds of Cubans.

According to a press statement by his lawyer, Posada Carriles died on the morning of May 23, at his Miramar home in South Florida. Although the cause of his death is still unknown, he was reported to be suffering from throat cancer.

Without any doubt, the WWII Holocaust and the 1915 Armenian genocide consist the two largest mass slaughters of the 20^th century. They are crimes which must never be erased from the collective memory of the peoples, no matter how many decades will pass. 

However, there are also less known sides of History, the “forgotten” holocausts to which the bourgeois historiography has given little importance, either by downgrading them as insignificant details of world history or by distorting their true dimensions. 

A major example of such a “forgotten” holocaust is the mass slaughter of the communists in Indonesia by Suharto's dictatorship during the 1965-66.

CIA was behind the arrest of 'dangerous communist' Nelson Mandela, reveals former US spy

A former CIA agent has finally confirmed what the world has long suspected: the US agency was behind the arrest that put Nelson Mandela in prison for 27 years.

Two weeks before “unrepentant” 88-year-old Donald Rickard died, the CIA spy confessed to filmmaker John Irvin that his tip led to Mandela’s arrest, according to a report in the Sunday Times.

Rickard defended the arrest of South Africa’s most wanted man in 1962, which he says was necessary to capture “the world’s most dangerous communist outside of the Soviet Union.”

Rickard, who was officially working as US vice consul in the South African city of Durban at the time, said he learned Mandela was on his way to Natal, traveling between Johannesburg and Durban.
