KKE calls for popular mobilization to disengage Greece from the US–Israeli war in the Middle East

The Press Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) issued the following statement (here in Greek) regarding developments in the Middle East war and the deployment of military forces to Cyprus:

“The latest dramatic developments in Cyprus, as well as in other countries of the region, in themselves demand that Greece disengage here and now from the flames of war ignited by the United States and Israel with their military attack on Iran.

 

Tudeh Party strongly condemns the aggressive attack by Israel and the USA against Iran

In a statement issued on 28 February 2026, the Tudeh Party of Iran strongly condemned the joint aggressive military attack of US and Israel against Iran: 

"Dear Compatriots!

Early this morning, our country was attacked by extensive missile and air strikes by the racist Israeli government and the United States. This blatant aggression against Iranian territory occurs while the Iranian and US government officials, with the mediation of regional countries, have been engaged in negotiations over the past few weeks to resolve disputes over Iran’s nuclear program.
