The European Parliamentary Group of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) strongly criticized European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s State of the Union address, arguing that the priorities she outlined are “alien to the concerns and opposed to the interests of the peoples of Europe.”
According to the KKE, the European Union is seeking to strengthen the position of its monopolies amid intensifying competition with the United States and China for supremacy in the global capitalist economy.
