Brussels: Militant demonstration against EU Parliament's anti-communist resolution

With a militant protest organized by the Communist Party of Belgium in Brussels, members and friends of communist parties, workers and immigrants raised their voice against the EU Parliament's despicable anti-communist resolution which distorts history by equating communism with fascism.

The demonstration was attended by the organizations of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) and KNE in Belgium, as well as by the KKE group in the European Parliament.

Despite the heavy rainfall, the members and supporters of the KKE and KNE, alongside Belgian comrades and other immigrants, condemned the shameful resolution which aims to re-write history by labeling the Soviet Union as a "collaborator" of Nazi Germany, thus promoting the unhistorical and hideous equation of communism with the monster of fascism.

The protest ended with the people singing the "Internationale" in French and Greek.
