A 15-point statement by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) on the most important problems facing working people in Turkey — and the path forward: parting ways with the Turkish bourgeois class:

"Poverty, the cost of living, unemployment; workplace murders, mobbing and injustice; gambling, drugs, harassment, abuse, violence, femicides, corruption—in short, a society in full decay, and a country shaken by earthquakes and fires. The list goes on.

KKE: The photographs depicting the last moments of the 200 of Kaisariani reveal the moral greatness of the communists

Eighty-two years after the mass execution of 200 Greek communist fighters by the Nazis at the Athens' Kaisariani Shooting Range, photographs said to depict the victims’ final moments have surfaced for the first time.
The images were discovered in an album listed in an online eBay auction by a seller based in Belgium.

According to available information, the album appears to have belonged to a German officer who served in a unit stationed in Malakasa, in the outskirts of Athens, during the Occupation.

Communist forces triumph in Athens Labor Center elections

In a significant political breakthrough for the class-struggle movement in Greece, the All Workers Militant Front (PAME) — led by the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) — has been confirmed as the dominant force in the elections of the Athens Labor Center, the largest and most influential workers’ organization in the country.

The results of the 33rd Congress elections, concluded on Sunday, showed a clear strengthening of the DAS (Democratic Workers’ Movement) list, the PAME-aligned slate of rank-and-file workers’ representatives.

Seventy years since the 20th CPSU Congress: When revisionism became doctrine

 By Nikos Mottas

Seventy years after the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (14-25 February 1956), the time for euphemisms has long passed. What occurred in February 1956 was not a minor rectification within the socialist project, nor a supposedly neutral “de-Stalinization” necessary for renewal. It was a decisive political reorientation that reshaped the trajectory of the international communist movement and altered the balance within the socialist camp. The Congress did not overthrow socialism, but it changed the theoretical and strategic line of the Soviet state in ways that strengthened revisionism, legitimized opportunism, and weakened the dictatorship of the proletariat from within.

India on strike: 300 million workers mobilize against Modi’s policies

On Thursday, February 12, an estimated 300 million workers, peasants, students, and professionals from diverse sectors mobilized across India, staging one of the largest coordinated actions in recent years. The nationwide upsurge was organized to defend labor and social rights and to protest the policies of the country’s far-right government.

The strike call was issued by the Central Trade Unions (CTUs), a joint platform bringing together India’s major labor federations, including the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), the All India Central Council of Trade Unions (AICCTU), and the Hind Mazdoor Sabha (HMS), among others.

Cuba Sends Doctors. The USA Sends Bombs

By Nikos Mottas

There are moments when history reduces itself to a single, unavoidable contrast. Today is one of them. As renewed threats and economic aggression once again emanate from Washington under Donald Trump, an old truth regains its sharpness:

Cuba sends doctors. The United States sends bombs.

This is not a slogan invented for effect. It is a reflection of two opposing social systems, two different priorities, two irreconcilable visions of what a society should produce—and for whom.

More than 100 Communist and Workers' Parties say: Stop the escalation of aggression against Cuba!

In a joint statement published in SolidNet, more than 100 Communist and Workers' Parties and Organizations demand an immediate end to the imperialist aggression of the U.S government against Cuba. More specifically, the statement, which is open for further signatures, points out:

«Stop the escalation of aggression against Cuba!»

"We firmly condemn US imperialism’s new escalation of aggression against the sovereignty and independence of Cuba and against the rights of the Cuban people.

KKE calls on Mitsotakis government to reject Trump’s “Peace Council” invitation

In a statement (here in Greek) regarding the invitation extended by Trump to the Greek government to participate in the so-called “Board of Peace” the Press Office of the Central Committee of the KKE stresses the following:

The Greek government must, without hesitation, reject Trump’s invitation to the upcoming meeting of the so-called “Board of Peace”, whose aim is to implement the plan to turn Gaza into a US–Israeli protectorate and an “El Dorado”  for investments, in which there will be no place for the homeland of the long-suffering Palestinian people.

Report of the CC of the KKE to the 22nd Congress: On the International Communist Movement

The International Communist Movement is facing a chronic and profound ideological, political, and organizational crisis. A significant number of Communist Parties that resisted ideological mutation and remained steadfast during the counter-revolution and faithful to Marxism-Leninism and proletarian internationalism, have been unable to draw conclusions regarding the programmatic causes of the counter-revolutionary overthrows, to study both their history and the history of the communist movement, or to formulate their strategy accordingly — a strategy that reflects the contemporary needs of the class struggle, the struggle for socialist revolution, the overthrow of capitalism, and the construction of socialism–communism.

There Is One Marxism: Against “Western”, “Eastern” and “Third-World” Marxism

On False “Anti-Imperialism,” Campism, and the Abandonment of Class Analysis

By Nikos Mottas

The recurrent attempt to divide Marxism into “Western,” “Eastern,” “Third-World,” or other geographically marked variants reflects a deeper theoretical retreat from Marxism as a scientific worldview and a revolutionary method. Such distinctions implicitly transform Marxism from a universal theory of capitalist society and class struggle into a set of culturally conditioned perspectives, shaped primarily by geography rather than by objective social relations. From a Marxist-Leninist standpoint, this approach is fundamentally mistaken. Marxism is one, not because it ignores historical and national specificity, but because it rests on objective laws of social development that operate globally wherever capitalism exists.

Communist Parties from across the world condemn U.S aggression and threats against Cuba

Communist and Worker's Parties from all over the world strongly condemn and denounce the shameful threats of the Trump administration towards Cuba as well as the tightening of the U.S. inhumane and genocidal blockade against the Island of the Revolution. Cuba Is Not Alone! Cuba No Está Sola!

Karl Marx statue unveiled in Chennai, India

On 6 February 2026, a life-size statue of Karl Marx was unveiled in Chennai, at the Connemara Public Library–State Museum complex, by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin. The inauguration, organised by the state government, was accompanied by an exhibition on Marx’s life and ideas, underlining the explicitly ideological character of the event.

The erection of Marx’s statue in a major Indian metropolis is more than a ceremonial gesture.

The Epstein scandal is an offspring of capitalism

By Nikos Mottas

The much-publicized Epstein scandal is persistently described as a “dark anomaly,” a moral rupture inside an otherwise functioning system. This description is false. What it conceals is more important than what it reveals. The affair did not expose a deviation from capitalism but one of its normal, if usually less visible, operations. By treating Epstein as an exception, bourgeois discourse shields the system that made him possible.

KKE in EU Parliament: In the face of new threats from the US, we demand: hands off Cuba!

In a statement regarding the new provocative threats of the U.S administration against Cuba, the MEPs of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) stress out:

"Having become emboldened after its imperialist intervention in Venezuela, the Trump administration is now intensifying its aggression against Cuba, with the ridiculous argument that it is "facing aggressive actions." In this context, the US is considering imposing tariffs and sanctions on countries that supply Cuba with oil and other vital commodities, as well as a "naval blockade" of the Island of Revolution.

Why we should defend Cuba at all costs

By Nikos Mottas

The recent escalation of vicious threats and coercive measures against Cuba by the Trump administration marks a new phase in a policy that is neither accidental nor episodic.

The tightening of sanctions, the targeting of fuel supplies, the intensification of financial restrictions, and the open rhetoric of intimidation together constitute a deliberate sharpening of economic warfare against the Cuban people.

Anti-Communism in Iran: From the Pahlavi Dynasty to the Islamic Republic

 By Nikos Mottas

In modern Iranian history, anti-communism has never been an accident or a mere ideological reflex. It has been a permanent weapon of bourgeois state power. Across regimes that appeared to stand at opposite ideological poles — the pro-Western, secular monarchy of the Pahlavi dynasty and the theocratic order established after 1979 — the repression of communists and revolutionary leftists formed a stable axis of continuity. The language of power changed; its class function did not.

Michael Parenti, Marxist political scientist and author, dies aged 92

Michael Parenti, the American Marxist political scientist, author, and lecturer, has died at the age of 92. Over several decades, he wrote influential books such as Democracy for the Few, Inventing Reality, and Blackshirts and Reds, combining academic research with a polemical style aimed at reaching audiences beyond the university. His work challenged dominant narratives on U.S. foreign policy, the role of the media, and the nature of liberal democracy.

Paul Robeson: 50 years since the death of the legendary communist voice

On 23 January 1976, the world lost Paul Robeson — an artist of towering ability and a man of rare moral courage. Fifty years on, Robeson’s life stands as a reminder that art can be a weapon against injustice, and that integrity, once chosen, can be carried through even the harshest storms of repression.

Robeson was many things at once, and all of them exceptional. He was born in 1898 in Princeton, New Jersey, the son of a formerly enslaved father whose life shaped his son’s unbreakable sense of dignity.

Greenland: A "Northern Front" of Inter-Imperialist Rivalry

By Nikos Mottas

The developments surrounding Greenland should not be treated as a diplomatic anomaly or as the product of individual political choices.

They are a concentrated expression of the contemporary phase of imperialism, in which the sharpening competition among capitalist powers drags strategic regions and smaller peoples into conflicts not of their own making.
