Dozens of communist and anti-imperialist youth organizations from across the world are expected to take part in the International City (Diethnoupoli) of the 52nd Festival of the Communist Youth of Greece (KNE) – Odigitis, whose central events will be held in Athens on 23–26 September 2026.
Under the banner “Workers of all countries, unite!”, the International City will once again serve as a meeting point for young communists from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas, offering space for political discussion, exchange of experience and internationalist solidarity.

This year’s program will also highlight the 100th anniversary of Fidel Castro’s birth, the 90th anniversary of the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War, and developments in the imperialist war, with particular focus on the Middle East.
According to the organizers, the gathering will send a strong message of proletarian internationalism and common struggle against imperialist war, capitalist exploitation and the system that breeds them, reaffirming the perspective of socialism.
The organizations that have so far confirmed their participation are: Communist Youth of Austria; Communist Youth Front of Austria; Young Communist League of Brazil; Young Communist League of Britain; Young Communist League of France; Socialist German Workers’ Youth; Swiss Communist Youth Union; Connolly Youth Movement of Ireland; Workers’ Party Youth of Ireland; Collectives of Young Communists of Spain; Young Communist League of Israel; Communist Youth Front of Italy; Young Communist League of Canada; United Democratic Youth Organisation of Cyprus (EDON); Progressive Movement of Cypriot Students; Communist Youth Front of Mexico; Young Communists of Norway; Communist Youth Movement of the Netherlands; Palestinian Communist Youth Union; Paraguayan Communist Youth; Portuguese Communist Youth; Revolutionary Communist Youth League (Bolsheviks) of Russia; Communist Youth of Sweden; Socialist Students’ Union of Sri Lanka; Communist Youth of Turkey; Youth of the Communist Workers’ Party – For Peace and Socialism of Finland; and the World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY).
