KKE: Hands off Oscar Figuera, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Venezuela!

In a statement, the International Relations Section of the CC of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) stresses out:

"The anti-communist campaign of the social-democratic PSUV government against the CP of Venezuela is further escalating, following the unacceptable decision of the Supreme Court of Justice, which in August 2023 outlawed the CP of Venezuela and recognized a group of paid agents of government representatives in its place.

Venezuela's communists respond to Nicolás Maduro: "Mr. President, it is you who drives a bus full of corrupt people"

Communist branches respond to Nicolás Maduro: "Mr. President, it is you who drives a bus full of corrupt people"

Indignation and total rejection has been registered in the last hours in the ranks of the Communist Party of Venezuela after President Nicolás Maduro confirmed his participation in the judicial assault on the PCV on January 4 and declared -without any proof- that the legitimate leadership, elected by the XVI National Congress, had "surrendered" to "corruption" and "imperialism".

The European Communist Action expresses its firm solidarity with the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV), which is currently under severe attack by the PSUV's regime in power in the country.

The contraction of oil revenue has led the PSUV's government to expedite continuous concessions to the bourgeoisie, accompanied by increasing restrictions on the political and labor-union rights of the working class and by intensifying repression of the proletarian resistance.

CPUSA Again Shows True Colors, Sides with PSUV Against Revolutionary PCV

In recent months, the governing party of Venezuela – the PSUV – under the leadership of Nicolas Maduro has brought the hammer down on the revolutionary Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV).

The PCV has taken the principled communist stance of opposing the bourgeois regime of PSUV and exposing the irrefutably capitalist nature of the Venezuelan state and the PSUV’s role in perpetuating the continued economic crises in the country.

Is there justice in Venezuela? TSJ denies the right to defense to the Communist Party

The President of the Communist Party of Venezuela, Perfecto Abreu, qualified as unlawful and illegal the ruling of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) that last August 11 declared the intervention of the PCV with an ad hoc board constituted by citizens from outside the organization.

"The magistrate did not give the right to defense to the Communist Party of Venezuela", denounced Abreu in a press statement, after explaining that the Constitutional Chamber "admitted and decided immediately, using the procedure of mere law, without taking into account that among the plaintiffs there is not a single militant of the Communist Party of Venezuela".

Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV): On Maria Corina Machado and PSUV's media manipulation campaign

The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) rejects the infamous campaign of manipulation undertaken by propaganda laboratories financed by the Government to make public opinion believe that our organization has some kind of political or electoral alliance with the citizen María Corina Machado.

These crude maneuvers are not an isolated fact, but are part of a chain of "false flags" aimed at justifying the assault plan executed by the leadership of the Government-PSUV with the objective of legally intervening into the PCV and subordinating it to their interests.

Just as some 24 hours earlier it was denounced before the national and international public opinion, this action is aimed to usurp the acronym and the legal personality of the Communist Party of Venezuela.

"The PCV is in the streets, fighting for the construction of the broadest unity of action to confront the offensive of capital and its allies in Miraflores," affirmed Janohi Rosas, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela, during a press conference this Monday.

The statements coincided with a new national day of protest by the education workers, who had planned to gather outside the Ministry of Education but had to concentrate in the surroundings of the Central University of Venezuela after the National Government ordered a last minute partisan act to avoid the protest.
