Communist Party of Swaziland's 5th National Congress to be held on April 6-9

The 5th National Congress of the Communist Party of Swaziland (CPS) is due to be held between 6-9 April 2023 in Mpumalanga region, South Africa.

The Communist Party of Swaziland, a vivid Marxist-Leninist party in the African continent, was founded in 2011 and consisted a historic move in the struggle of the people of Eswatini (Swaziland) against the authoritarian regime of King Mswati II and the exploitative capitalist system.

The CPS was been formed by Swazi women and men who witnessed the systematic persecution of the Swazi population, who are burdened by political and social oppression, as well as enforced mass poverty, the worst HIV-AIDS pandemic in the world, and a horrifically low level of life expectancy. We aim to end this murderous degradation of our people, whose labor and capacity are being exploited by the monarchic autocracy and the capitalist system in order to enrich the ruling class.

The CPS is a Marxist-Leninist party that struggles for socialism seeking a complete end to the autocracy and the establishment of a free, democratic multi-party system. The Party struggles for the revolutionary transformation of society that ends poverty, disease, the oppression of women, and the stifling of youth.

The Communist Party of Swaziland participates in the International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties (IMCWP).
