KNE: Victory for the struggle of the school students in France – Victoire pour la lutte des lycéens en France!

“Victory for the struggle of the school students in France!”, emphasises the Press Office of the Central Council of the Communist Youth of Greece (KNE) in a statement on the large-scale student protests, noting the following:

«We salute and express our solidarity with the thousands of school students - boys and girls - who have flooded the streets of France, demanding “Education for all” – the key slogan of their protests.

France: Union of Communist Youth (UJC) expresses solidarity with nationwide student protests

France is witnessing one of its largest high-school student mobilizations in decades. What began with blockades over teacher shortages and deteriorating conditions has spread across the country, with hundreds of schools affected and thousands of students taking to the streets. The movement is demanding more resources for public education, adequate staffing and better school infrastructure, while confrontations with police and the use of tear gas have further intensified tensions.
