KKE blasts Maduro government's attack on PCV: Hands Off the Communist Party of Venezuela!

In a statement, the International Relations Section of the CC of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) strongly condemns the recent arbitrary judicial sentence of Venezuela's Supreme Court against the Communist Party (PCV) that endorses the imposition of a puppet leadership composed of mercenaries at the service of the high government officials of the PSUV.

The KKE expresses its internationalist solidarity to the Communist Party of Venezuela and its genuine leadership under General Secretary Oscar Figuera. Among others, the statement titled "Hands Off the CP of Venezuela" reads:

“The KKE unequivocally rejects the unacceptable, reactionary and anti-communist decision of the Supreme Court which enforces the decisions of the PSUV government on demand. The KKE will continue to express its international solidarity and support to the CP of Venezuela, its Central Commitee, General Secretary comrade Oscar Figuera, all its members and struggles for the defense of the interests and rights of the working class and people of Venezuela.

We condemn this unacceptable coup action and any formation that may appear with the name and symbols of the Communist Party of Venezuela and will be a puppet of the social democratic government and Venezuelan state.

We call on the Communist Parties to stand by the side of the CP of Venezuela and General Secretary comrade Oscar Figuera and to express, directly and decisively, their internationalist solidarity”.
