Fascist attacks in India: Communist Parties of India strongly condemn RSS-BJP violence

The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) strongly condemns the unleashing of unprecedented violence and arson by the RSS/BJP all across the state of Tripura in the aftermath of their victory in the recent assembly election.
CPI(M) and Left Party offices and cadres are targetted with murderous assaults. The destruction of the statue of Lenin, is symbolic of the rabid anti - communist, anti - democratic fascistic character of the RSS.
A delegation of the CPI(M) and Left Parties MPs submitted a memorandum to PM today in Parliament detailing major incidents of such attacks. This memorandum is attached here with.

Three years of Narendra Modi's government: The devastating situation of women in India

Three years of Modi Raj. How has it been for the women of this country?
In one word: devastating. Budget spending on women related programs has been cut, employment opportunities for women are nowhere in sight, unbridled violence against women continues and on top of everything, we have scores of RSS-inspired leaders who are openly preaching a return to medieval times with women locked inside domestic walls, wearing “proper” clothes and behaving respectfully towards men.
No surprise that the promise of passing the Women’s Reservation Bill is not even on the govt.’s agenda.

The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued the following statement:
The Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) strongly condemns the brutal murder of its Paduvilai Local Committee member, K Mohanan, by RSS hoodlums this morning. A group of heavily armed RSS goons entered the toddy shop where the 52 year old Mohanan was working and hacked him to death. There were around 30-40 sharp wounds inflicted on his body. This is the second murder of a CPI(M) worker in the Dharmadom constituency represented by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Earlier, RSS workers had attacked a CPI(M) victory procession in the same constituency on the day of counting leading to the death of CPI(M) worker Ravindranath.

Communist Party of India (Marxist): No Bases for US Armed Forces

Source: Solidnet.
The Modi government has taken the dangerous step of deepening military collaboration with the United States by agreeing to allow US armed forces to use base facilities in Indian naval and air force bases.
The US Defence Secretary and the Indian Defence Minister have announced an in principle agreement has been reached for a Logistics Exchange  Memorandum of Agreement (LEMOA). This is just another name for the Logistic Support Agreement (LSA) that the United States enters into with military allies like Philippines, South Korea and Japan. Unlike what the Defence Minister says, refueling, maintenance and repair facilities for American ships and airplanes will require the  stationing of US armed forces personnel on Indian soil on a regular basis.
