Communists of Serbia support the popular uprising led by students against the corrupt Vučić regime

Communists of Serbia: The end is near 

For months now, the people's justified rebellion against the corrupt and criminalized government, embodied in Aleksandar Vučić and the SNS, has been going on. Of course, we should not forget his engaged servants - Ivica Dačić, Aleksandar Vulin and Milica Zavetnica. 

For a long time, the government responded to public protests with individual acts of violence - driving vehicles into the crowd, sporadic attacks on activists, etc. We are witnessing the beginning of a new phase in the government's reaction, which is reflected in the brutal and inappropriate use of force against the people who are demanding their basic democratic rights. 

Brutality, especially by the gendarmerie and the police, is unheard of in these areas since the Second World War. It seems that we are expecting even greater and more brutal violence against the people, bearing in mind that this was promised by the "great leader" himself. Obviously, he was not a very good student, because if he was, he would have remembered what is a famous poet Njegoš wrote a long time ago - To whom the law lies in the mace, his tracks stink of inhumanity. 

The regime of Aleksandar Vučić has a lot of support from the top of the Serbian Orthodox Church and extreme right-wing organizations, which promote certain fan hooligan and criminal groups as their exponents in the fight against the rebellious people. We must not forget the particularly toxic role of the regime media, especially Informer, Pink, Happy TV, Novosti, Kurir and the tabloid Alo. 

Of course, the victory of the united people over this treacherous regime is not in doubt, and then all the aforementioned will have to pay for their crimes. Bearing in mind that the Communists of Serbia are a Marxist-Leninist revolutionary party, we stand for revolutionary justice, because only it gives real results. No one who has sinned against the people and their basic human rights must be forgiven. There is a fear that the pro-regime opposition will come to power on the wings of a justified popular uprising, which wants to present itself as a force determined to fight for the people's interests, but in fact wants to take over power and continue the SNS policy, with the fact that they, and not the current government, would benefit from it. This is the situation embodied in the popular saying: Mount Kurta, to mount Murta. 

This kind of development of events must not be allowed, because it would make the multi-month national struggle for a fairer and better Serbia completely pointless. The Communist Party of Serbia supports the popular uprising led by students and directed against the treacherous and corrupt regime. Our support is determined, first of all, by the fact that a significant number of students and professors have a left-wing anti-capitalist orientation and that the general interest of the people comes first. We are aware of the fact that among those who participate in the protests there are citizens who are right-wing and clerical, but we believe that mutual differences with that category of people should be resolved after the victory over the Vučić regime.
