Communists from Ecuador, Mexico, Chile, the United States, and Brazil are joining forces to say with one voice: Down with the criminal blockade against Cuba! A joint press release points out:

This Wednesday, October 29, the United Nations (UN) General Assembly will be held, where the draft resolution to end the criminal and imperialist blockade against the brave people of Cuba will once again be put to a vote.

The Communist Party of Ecuador (PCE) condemns the assassination of Fernando Villavicencio

In a statement, the Communist Party of Ecuador (Partido Comunista de Ecuador- PCE) condemns the assassination of presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio (photo) in Quito and demands the punishment of those responsible for the crime.
