Peruvian Communist Party leader Flor de María Gonzáles Uriola died

According to statement issued by the Central Committee Peruvian Communist Party (Partido Comunista Peruano), the Party's General Secretary Flor de María Gonzáles Uriola died on 25th November 2018 at Guillermo Almenara hospital in Lima. She was 68 years old.

The "Red Flor", as she was known among her comrades, was a congresswoman for the "Broad Front" coalition (Frente Amplio) in which the Peruvian CP participates. 

Comrade Uriola had joined the Congress last September, replacing the late congressman Mario Canzio. 

Flor de María Gonzáles Uriola joined the movement in her youth and dedicated her whole life in the struggle for a better world, for the abolition of the exploitation of man by man, for socialism. 

She was an active member and trade unionist at the General Confederation of Workers (CGTP).
