The Camp will take place from 2 to 6 July in Alissos, Achaia. As part of the event, there will be a rally in Patras on Friday 4 July in the afternoon, where Dimitris Koutsoumbas, GS of the CC of the KKE, and Thodoris Kotsandis, Secretary of the Central Committee of KNE, will speak.
On Saturday morning, 5 July, there will be anti-imperialist demonstrations at the Andravida and Araxos military bases.
Thousands of young people from across the country are already preparing to take part in this significant event and respond to the plans of the government, NATO and the EU. They also aim to send a message against our country’s deeper involvement in the dangerous NATO plans promoted by the government and supported by all the bourgeois parties which serve the interests and profits of business groups, while the people suffer the consequences.
The following discussions will take place during the four days of the Camp:
- ‘For the socialist state’. Speaker: Loukas Anastasopoulos, member of the Central Committee of the KKE and head of the Ideological Committee of the CC of the KKE. (3 July 2025)
- ‘With the peoples all the way to freedom, against the system of injustice and war’. Speaker: Eliseos Vagenas, member of the CC of the KKE and head of the International Relations Section of the CC of the KKE. (3 July 2025)
- ‘Ten years since the 2015 referendum: The KKE’s stance against bourgeois governments as a weapon in our current struggles’. Speaker: Aleka Papariga, member of the CC of the KKE. (5 July 2025)
Throughout the camp, there will be a variety of sports and cultural activities, including concerts by music groups. A highlight will be the visit of the KNE Student Organizations to the Nikos Belogiannis Museum in Amaliada.
As every year, there will be a Children’s Camp for the friends of the ‘Red Hot-Air Balloon’ (for children aged 9 to 13), with a separate programme of activities.
There will also be a bookshop with publications by ‘Synchroni Epochi'.
