Communist Party of Poland condemns the so-called "World Anti-Imperialist Platform"

In a letter addressed to the members of the International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties (SolidNet), the Communist Party of Poland (KPP) informs that it does not participate, nor will it participate, in the so-called "World Anti-Imperialist Platform".

Furthermore, it notes that the Platform's "actions are provocative and directed against the International Communist Movement”, characterizing its methods as "unacceptable”.

The Communist Party of Poland's statement reads:

“Due to appearing suggestions about cooperation between our party and the so-called World Anti-imperialist Platform we strongly deny that there are links between us and this group.

The Communist Party of Poland does not take part in the World Anti-imperialist Platform. Our party did not sign any of the WAP's documents. We have no contact with them and have not published any of their materials in our media.

A member of our party, who participated in some meetings of WAP, did not have a mandate to represent our party. He was personally invited directly by the WAP, without contacting the CPP.

Last year our Party condemned his presentation as a representative of CPP at the Dakar meeting as well as in previous ones, as soon as we were informed about the publication on the WAP website.

Since October 2024 none of the CPP members neither participated nor will participate in the activities of WAP. We do not see any perspective for cooperation with this group. We regard WAP's actions as rowdy and directed against the international communist movement, and their methods as unacceptable
