In a statement released earlier, the Revolutionary Government of the Republic of Cuba strongly condemns the assassination attempt against Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro and expresses full solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution and the people of Venezuela.
More specifically, the statement writes that the Cuban government "strongly condemns the attack against the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on Saturday August 4 during a military parade in Caracas, on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Bolivarian National Guard".
