Goebbels in Florida: Red Scare bill declares November 7th as... "victims of communism day"

A monstrous anti-communist bill that falsifies history was approved on Wednesday by the Florida House of Representatives. More specifically, according to the bill (HB 1553) students in Florida schools would be taught each year about “how people have suffered and died under communist regimes”!

Furthermore, the bill requires the governor of annually issue a proclamation designating November 7th – the anniversary day of the Great October Socialist Revolution – as... “Victims of Communism Day”!

League of Young Communists USA denounces Biden's warlike policy against the people of Korea

In a statement the International Department of the CC of the League of Young Communists USA denounces Biden administration's warlike policy against the people of Korea. The statement reads:

"The extradition of a DPRK citizen living in Malaysia, Mun Chol Myong, by the United States is a political arrest and kidnapping in broad daylight in defiance of international law and stability. Malaysia, a country which had a fascist military coup within recent years, proves the country’s subservience to the United States.

KKE slams Greek Premier Mitsotakis' visit to USS Dwight D. Eisenhower

Just two days before the celebration of the 200th anniversary of Greece's Revolution of Independence on March 25, 1821, Greek Premier Kyriakos Mitsotakis decided to pay a visit to a symbol of U.S. imperialism - the United States Navy aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower which is docked at the Souda naval base in the island of Crete. 

For the record, the Prime Minister was received by the Commander of the US Navy in Europe and Africa, Admiral Robert Burke, and Lieutenant Colonel Scott Robertson, commander of the strike team led by “Eisenhower". 

KKE condemns U.S. air strikes in Syria: Those who cultivated expectations about the Biden presidency are exposed

U.S. President Joe Biden ordered on Thursday the launching of air strikes against buildings in eastern Syria that the Pentagon said were used by “Iranian-backed militias”, in retaliation for rocket attacks on American targets in Iraq. According to the London-based “Syrian Observatory for Human Rights”, at least 22 people have been killed by the strikes.

U.S. Pentagon press secretary John Kirby portrayed the bombing in Syria as “carefully calibrated” calling it “proportionate” and “defensive”. 

CNN's big anti-communist lies

One of the most popular theories in modern anti-communism is the so-called “two extremes theory”; a dangerous and unhistorical ideological fabrication that tries to equate communism with the monsters of nazism-fascism. Recently, guided by this theory, CNN tried to equate the struggles of American communists in the mid-20th century with the far-right Trump supporters who stormed the Capitol last January!

Since the beginning of the 1990s and the victory of counterrevolutions in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, Senator Biden has been a proponent of the interventionist imperialist policy of the United States. The International Department of the CC of the Party of Communists, USA (PCUSA) issued the following statement concerning U.S. government's decision to include Cuba on the list of "states-sponsors of terrorism". 

On January 11th, 2021 the US State Department unilaterally designated Cuba as a “State Sponsor of Terrorism.” With only 9 days left in the Trump administration’s term in office, the designation reverses President Obama’s removal of Cuba from the list in 2015.

Communist Parties of Greece and Turkey denounce U.S. decision to put Cuba back on list of "sponsors of terrorism"

The Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) has published a statement concerning the U.S. government's decision to include Cuba on the list of "state sponsors of terrorism".

The State Department of the United States, once again, listed Cuba among the countries supporting terrorism as of yesterday. As if the outrage caused by the Trump supporters was not enough, this decision proves once again as the President of the US is leaving power the government’s officiousness doesn’t recognize any bounds.

Cuba strongly condemned its inclusion in a US list of countries that sponsor terrorism.

In a statement, the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns "in the strongest and most absolute terms the fraudulent qualification of Cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism, announced by the United States government in a cynical and hypocritical act."

The Cuban MINREX calls the U.S. announcement "an act by a government that is discredited, dishonest and morally bankrupt", adding that "the true motivation for this action is to impose additional obstacles to any prospect of recovery in the bilateral relations between Cuba and the United States.

It's not just Trump. IT'S CAPITALISM, STUPID!

The images of chaos from Washington DC with the pro-Trump supporters storming the U.S. Capitol are the mirror of a democracy in advanced state of decay. For decades, the facade of the much-celebrated “American Dream” and the artificial prosperity of the most powerful economy in the world was hiding the accumulated rottenness of an entire system.

The history of American Democracy, especially in the 20th century, is full of class exploitation, social and racial violence, imperialist interventions and wars, cultural values based on social Darwinism and the deification of money. Several generations of Americans were raised under the belief that there is no alternative to Capitalism, that Communism is a menace and the U.S. is the “guardian of the free world”.

Concerning the January 6th events in Washington DC, the Political Bureau of the  Party of Communists, USA (PCUSA) issued the following statement:

In public statements and posts on social media, Communist and pro-worker parties in the United States strongly condemn the riots caused by Trump supporters in Washington DC, pointing out that the far-right, fascist and nationalist menace must be defeated by the people's struggle.

"The situation that happened in Capitol Hill today should show the whole country the danger of nationalism and the type of danger that Trump and his base represents. This was a taste of the terror we can expect from this group is nothing is done about it. Join and organize."

Employment will drop by 90,000 full-time employees by December, according to Airlines for America trade group, which represents major U.S. airlines.

The 90,000 job losses will bring U.S. airlines employment to its lowest level since the mid-1980s by year's end as a result of more than 30,000 furloughs at airlines such as United and American and thousands of other workers from Southwest, Delta Airlines and other carriers accepting buyouts, CNBC reported.

Bureau of Transportation Statistics data that the trade group compiled show the drop from pre-COVID peak in March of 460,000 full-time jobs to 370,000 full-time jobs by year's end.
