KKE denounces the U.S. imperialist aggression against Cuba and Latin American people

In a statement issued on Thursday 18 April, the Press Bureau of the CC of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) condemns the intensificiation of the U.S. imperialist aggression and threats against Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua and the people of Latin America.
More specifically the KKE points out:
The KKE denounces the threats, which the US Security Advisor, John Bolton, unleashed against the peoples of Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua, characterizing these countries as a "troika of tyranny" and "threats to the security of the region".

These statements, in combination with a scenario of military interventions, come to be added to  the longstanding efforts of the American imperialists against the Cuban Revolution and the struggle of the peoples of Latin America.
We demand the lifting of the blockade against Cuba, which for 60 years seeks to bring the heroic Cuban people to their knees and the abolition of the Helms-Burton law that tightens the economic blockade of the island.
The EU has participated for years now in the anti-communist crusade against Cuba, has supported together with the USA dozens of measures against Cuba. Its opposition to the implementation of the Helms-Burton law is exclusively related to defending the interests of the European monopolies and not to the interests of the Cuban people.
The KKE expresses its solidarity with the people of Cuba, the other peoples of Latin America, such as Venezuela and Nicaragua, which are faced with imperialist aggressiveness.
We express our solidarity with the Communist Parties of the region which are struggling to defend the rights of the working class and popular strata.
